Lifestyle Rabbit

The estate agents are photographing the cottage this afternoon. They will arrive in a moments time
The dogs have been put safely away in the car and I've done the lifestyle thing and put fresh Aldi flowers in each room.
The place is clean and tidy.
Surfaces are clear.
And Albert's decapitated lunch of baby rabbit has been removed from its bloody pool outside the back door.

  2. I have a feeling your house will sell very quickly. It is lovely, even with dead baby rabbits.

  3. A few minutes, a few shots and whoosh, he/she will be gone and then you can get all the stuff out again.

  4. Prospective Buyer: "I see that the owner has put bunches of flowers around the place to improve its appearance and salability so I am no longer interested."

  6. I remember showing prospective buyers round my first home, and opening the garage door with a flourish to reveal a dead rat, abandoned by the cat. The husband of the couple I was showing round very kindly removed it to the bin for me. They didn't buy the house though!

(Great decision about back door rabbit evidence!)

  9. A fine job of dusting, too. I was thinking of your fine collection of pots, tucked along the rafters. I suppose they're all in the attic now.

  14. And now the hard part of selling a house begins - keeping it dead rabbit free and floral until you have a firm offer!

  15. Should be a challenge keeping it ever ready for showings!!!!

  18. We have a viewing at 6.00 p.m. Surfaces are gleaming, flowers arranged. All signs of dog will be removed and Rick is taking me up the pub while the agent does the showing. Good luck with your sale.

  19. I'm sure your photos will be wonderful. Real estate agents have gotten a lot more savvy about that in the last few years. When we were looking to buy five or six years ago I couldn't believe some of the photos that accompanied the listings. Stuff piled up on every surface, and the biggest "no-no" for me was the toilet with the lid open (or worse, the seat up.) It looked like a gaping maw and who wants to see that?

  20. It's a deliberate act of sabotage. Albert doesn't want to move

  21. Freshly brewed coffee and cake baking in the oven will entice the buyers too - and a strategically placed copy of Country Living across the table!

  22. We too are trying to sell a house. We too have vases of tulips. Let's hope they do the trick.

  23. I went all out in prepping my house for sale. When it hit the online advertising a friend looked at the images and asked if it was my house.

  28. Looks lovely! I hope the pictures turn out well. It's a challenge to keep a house looking good for the next stage, too (prospective buyers). I do remember that from the one time we sold a house. We had two indoor cats and two small children and it was hard. But at least we had no dead rabbits or dead anything else for that matter :)

    1. I feel so blessed again in my marriage after Doctor ODUMODU brought back my husband that separated with me for one good year. Am ALENNA by name from ROMANIA. Even though i have mouths all over my body, it won't be enough to thank Doctor ODUMODU for his help upon my life. My husband separated with me for one year and have been in pains and agony without him. So, i searched for help everywhere but nothing worked out not until i meant Doctor ODUMODU. I explained my situation to him and he promised that my husband will get back to me within 48 hours as far that my heart still beats for him. I believed in him and he prepared a spell for me and my husband called me exactly when Doctor ODUMODU said. He pleaded and said he needs me back and now we are living happily again for the past 9 months. 37. The house looks wonderful John. If you're doing the showing around this might be a useful tip.... I noticed our agent saying very little and letting the viewers wind themselves up with enthusiasm - ours was a 'period house' too - 1930 Arts and Crafts is ancient over here!! He got us a fantastic price too.

  41. Charming as we see through your pictures.. sure to wow.
Keep a couple of packs of ready to bake bread rolls in the freezer. When you get the call "we have someone in the office that wants to view now... is it convenient???" pop them in the oven... baking bread is a winner as is percolating coffee.
Albert is going to miss his spring feasting next year!

  44. People know when they love a house within minutes of seeing it. Words are not required when the buyer is standing before you in my experience. They are in awe and they know they have found what they want.

  47. I don't think I could move all the bodies out of the way quick enough at the moment. Ginger is busy killing wildlife left right and centre at the moment.

We're currently away for a couple of days ... I dread returning home, we'll be wading through headless corpses to get to the back door. One of our neighbours was calling round to pick up some eggs from the henhouse for her B&b guests breakfast, I hope she didn't find any bodies!!
