Oh my goodness, thanks for that video! It was so nice to see the dogs "in person", so to speak. They are all adorable! And your kitchen floor is so clean, LOL! Mine always seems to be covered with long dog hair, no matter how often I sweep :(
Why was George last? He was in there first ... Poor George, he's the black [sheep] dog of the family, it seems. Jill just has to hear anything 'food' and she comes to sit with those sad brown eyes.
I am strict with the pecking order in which they are fed. William as pack leader is always fed first. George who is the most subservient dog is always Fed last It stops any confusion
William is pack leader? I thought it was Albert? ;) George is a love. They are all so cute. And it was nice to get a "live" shot of the kitchen. Thank you!!
How polite they all are, waiting their turn. We can't even get the human residents here at the senior complex to do that -- not bum rush the table, wait their turn, on Pizza Tuesdays. Next time you're in the states, maybe you'll give us some pointers. LOL.
So great to see your dogs in action and to hear you. I’m so impressed that there’s no milling about, snarking at each other - I’d like to hug each one!
And the big slurp from Winnie. They are really well behaved. My daughter has a french bulldog who is called Eddie meatballs. Besides looking like a extra on the Sopranos, you can guess his favourite treat.
You make my heart smile. It's just like being in Pat and Ann's kitchen. Dogs called one by one, assembling in their assigned place and waiting for their bowl of food to be delivered. Or, treat, as the case may be.
I just went back and read previous comments. I need to remark you and Pat are very physically alike, and leaders of quite a dog pack. I've seen upwards of ten and more around him at once. I asked how he maintained leadership and he said he pees highest on the vegetation.
We're heading for something Somewhere I've never been Sometimes I am frightened But I'm ready to learn Of the power of meaty balls Ooh, the power of meaty balls!
Wonderful ! Wonderful ! Wonderful ! Loved seeing them all together. George should have gotten his first as here was sitting so nicely! All I have to say is Chicken or Cookie and they come running.
Lovely post today, thank you cheers, parsnip and mandibles
Sweden says you’re all welcome, lovely dogs. Your voice John is fantastic, could you not please please record yourself reading something soothing we all can listen to when going to sleep at night?
I taught our dogs to sit before their food bowls were placed in front of them. Always a wise precaution when we had three ever-hungry Labradors ! Lovely to see the gorgeous Winnie !
Meatballs do it for me too! Love your dogs - so well behaved. Elizabeth x
ReplyDeleteLovely :) I hope you got one too.

ReplyDeleteIt is wonderful to meet your family. They are very polite and wait their turn. You have trained them well, John.
ReplyDeleteI love George's eyebrows! Such a cute dog. Lovely to see them all 'live'. xx
ReplyDeleteBeautiful! They’re so polite.
ReplyDeleteDebbie
Do they have to be Swedish? I'm a big fan of Italian meatballs myself.
ReplyDeleteSwedish meatballs are 1£ from the village shop
DeleteCute! They're very well behaved. I thought it would be a mad scramble!
ReplyDeleteHang on, George was there first so how come he got his last? Or had you sneaked a meatball to him before you shot the video?
ReplyDeletethey are always fed in pecking order. they know where their positions are
DeleteAwwww everyone waited so patiently. Sweet.

It was lovely to see them all and for the record you sound exactly how I thought you would! Thanks for sharing the video.
ReplyDeleteThey are so well behaved. Little lambs all lined up for their treat, no pushing or shoving, just waiting their turn.
ReplyDeleteWinnie's a warrior. Check your fingernails, John. Are they all there?
ReplyDeleteWhat a beautiful voice you have, John Gray!
ReplyDeleteI second the great voice comment. Cute dogs, nice kitchen. Do the dogs like Ikea meatballs?

ReplyDeleteGoodness I'm in love - no, not with you John, with the doggies of course! Of course I'd still hug YOU too given half a chance!
ReplyDeleteMary -
Where are Albert and the Prof?
ReplyDeleteThe Prof was at the university
DeleteAlbert asleep on the bed
I hope Albert got a treat as well.
ReplyDeleteWisely he keeps out of the way when food is around
DeleteI hope you gave him a treat on his own.
DeleteSo great to see your dogs in action and to hear you. I’m so impressed that there’s no milling about, snarking at each other - I’d like to hug each one!
ReplyDeleteBrilliant turn taking. Well trained by their pack leader. Hopefully you ate one first to check they were ok .
ReplyDeleteI did eat one , but to reinforce my position as leader
DeleteThat was funny!
ReplyDeleteAll good dogs! Heckin' good dogs...
ReplyDeleteYou've got them well drilled. Lovely.
ReplyDeleteI'd be like those dogs. I love 'em!
ReplyDeleteAnd the big slurp from Winnie. They are really well behaved. My daughter has a french bulldog who is called Eddie meatballs. Besides looking like a extra on the Sopranos, you can guess his favourite treat.
ReplyDeleteWhat a bright and well-behaved little troupe -- at least for meatballs. Oh and... so that's what your voice sounds like!
ReplyDeleteWhat charmers.
ReplyDeleteYou make my heart smile. It's just like being in Pat and Ann's kitchen. Dogs called one by one, assembling in their assigned place and waiting for their bowl of food to be delivered. Or, treat, as the case may be.

DeleteI love your voice too! Well behaved dogs. My 2 are quite good when treats are being offered. They know where to stand and who is first!
ReplyDeleteExactly as it is in our house but with cocktail sausages ... and now sadly only two dogs and a slightly curious cat.
ReplyDeleteLove it.

What a beautiful and obedient pack you have, but Winnie has stolen my heart (like she almost stole you fingers!). Lovely to see them all on video.
ReplyDeleteShe steams into a room like a galleon in full sail
DeleteThey have such good manners! I love them all!
ReplyDeleteI thought you were going to shout "SIT" first. Would they do it?
ReplyDeleteNo
DeleteI too expected them to sit before getting treats, or being fed.
DeleteWhat well behaved dogs! Hope there was a meatball for Albert too.
ReplyDeleteNot a single one was left
DeleteWe're heading for something
ReplyDeleteSomewhere I've never been
Sometimes I am frightened
But I'm ready to learn
Of the power of meaty balls
Ooh, the power of meaty balls!
Nutter
DeleteJohn that was delightful.
ReplyDeleteYour dogs are delightful. I love the skittering sound of claws on the new floor, it is the epitome of an excited dog noise to me!
ReplyDeleteNow you can see just why I ordered vinyl rather than have the floor tiled
DeleteOh yes, and crockery bounces on vinyl! ;-)
DeleteThey have such personalities. It's lovely to see them in action.
ReplyDeleteYou have balls. Meaty ones.
ReplyDeleteAnd more than two
DeleteThey are unbelievably cute.Dogs make me so happy-just looking at them x
ReplyDeleteWonderful ! Wonderful ! Wonderful !
ReplyDeleteLoved seeing them all together.

Just read the comments and I know why George is last but...
DeleteI have eggs and toast every morning George always gets to lick the plate
Delete
DeleteHe is such a sweet gud dug.
This totally made my day !
ReplyDeleteLoved your video!
ReplyDeleteThey love your meatballs but, in the end, they don't seem satisfied. Love that Churchillian bulldog.
ReplyDeleteThey were waiting for their dinner
DeleteSweden says you’re all welcome, lovely dogs.

I can't bore the tits off everyone more than I normally do
DeleteMy cats do that. I call them. They come. I call it herding.
ReplyDeleteIn our house it's called collective greed
DeleteLovely to see the family. Your voice sounds just as I expected it would!
ReplyDeleteI taught our dogs to sit before their food bowls were placed in front of them. Always a wise precaution when we had three ever-hungry Labradors !
ReplyDeleteLovely to see the gorgeous Winnie !
I think you might break the internet with that video. I love them all.
ReplyDeleteWONDERFUL - Really enjoyed that video and seeing the dogs 'live'. Everyone's commented on your voice - it is very soothing and quite 'posh'!!!!
ReplyDeleteSo cute. And so spoiled. AND so deserving.
ReplyDeleteso well trained :)
ReplyDeleteI had meatballs today. Spaghetti and to be exact and I didn't have to line up with your rascals to get them. Ha.
ReplyDeleteOh how sweet they are so well behaved thanks for sharing John.
