Ah John As I read this it's still a couple hours, maybe 5(!) before sunset. Montana, it's a bit north of the other states.
Earlier today I got a new phone, the old had something like an ink blot appear on the screen. I'm told this is to be expected in the advance years of the phone, not only the owner. Anyway, pal, hope you are well.
Oh, yeah. you were asking about what I'm doing this evening several hours behind you. John, it's high Montana summer here, 71F. Ann and I are going to have a Tom Colllins or two until her boyfriend comes home. Then it's to bed. cheers, Mike
For a moment there I thought it was a chocolate auto and I got excited. Tonight ? I will ask the cats what they want to watch on the television then I will read while I watch something boring. Everything has been boring on tv lately. Have a good weekend.
I am wishing I had chocolate to eat. Watching the Olympics, sort of .. and today I sent a donation to pay for the care of a young pup who met the wrong creature ... http://tinyurl.com/jjkuoob
I'm 50 and by 9pm last night we were getting ready for bed. However, this morning I was out with dozens of other Fireys in trucks doing a Rural/Urban Interface Exercise, so I'm not totally boring. Variety, including making aubergine creations, is good! :D
Aubergines sound more appealing than eggplants. From now on, that's what I am calling them. I shall impress everyone telling them I am growing exotic Aubergines in my garden. They will be jealous.
Break a leg.. Or should that be a wheel? Good luck x
ReplyDeleteAnd you appear to have a talent for it!
ReplyDeleteWell, dear man, we all have to do something.
ReplyDeleteIt sounds more fun (and more productive) than the domestic drudgery ahead of me today. And Jacqui is right - you do have a talent for it.
ReplyDeleteAhhhh, the years of the midlife crisis! Some men feel the need to buy a fancy car - nothing wrong with making one.

How very cute, John. It gave me an idea for a fun kid's dessert - out of chocolate eclairs!
ReplyDeleteNever mind the kids, I'd eat that :)
Deleteso would I!
DeleteAw, that's just the cutest thing! I can think of worse things to do on a Friday night.
ReplyDeleteSounds like you need a good pick-me-up. Have you tried Metatone?

ReplyDeleteKnob head
ReplyDeleteStop showing off. Where is the potato head that I submitted? It took me ages to prepare that one!
ReplyDeleteIt is so cute, have a great time carrying forward the village tradition.
ReplyDeleteVery cool car. After chores are done I'll probably sit around and wallow in self pity. I need to get lost in a good book, I think.
ReplyDeleteSitting with a friend from Colorado reviewing the day and solving the world's problems. Everything will be just fine!
ReplyDeleteThey are lovely though and John - I am sure, although you would never say it - that whole Show would collapse without you at the helm.
ReplyDeleteI dunno why you're doing this but I like it
ReplyDeleteI think it's Streamline Moderne, the last style with any real class in my opinion. Bound to win!
ReplyDeleteSo worth it x
ReplyDeleteand doing a mighty fine job I will add!!!
ReplyDeleteTamara de Lempicka would be proud of you!
