The Best Woman - Bake Off's Nadiya !

Charming, naturally funny, Nadiya have proved herself a worthy champion over
the delightfully sweet Tamal and the now quietly humble Ian
The champion, the show, the judges and the format
Is truly the Best Of British
Nadiya Cried, Ian cried, Tamal Cried, Mary even cried
I cried friggin buckets too
Wonderful tv

  5. What a worthy winner Nadiya is..I've been rooting for her from the beginning. I must say also that Tamals cake decoration was genius.

  17. I am so relieved that Nadya won it. I have managed to follow all of the episodes this season on YouTube, but I have to wait until the weekend before someone posts it up so I can watch it. I was getting a little jaded with BakeOff, but this year has been so watchable, especially because of Nadya, who is such a lovely, genuinely funny, person with the most extraordinary eyes!

  18. She was my favourite too - such a LOVELY person and a worthy winner, although I have to say, Tamal's show-stopper cake was INCREDIBLE! AND it tasted good!

  19. I cried, too! I told my husband - not a dry eye in Britain tonight. (His were dry, he'd fallen asleep. But he did tell me to leave it on the disk so he could rewatch it tonight. He'd just had the worst tiring day.) It was glorious. And she's great.

  20. i cried too!
All the classic cakes were wonderful. As Bovey Belle says, Tamal's sugar work was amazing. Nadiya's was the simplest but it was also the best in texture and flavour. And she had done well in the two earlier tests, so a worthy winner. (and she comes from up here in the North!)

  21. She was a worthy winner! I did get nervous when all three had to carry their heavy creations outside. If it were me, I am sure that I would trip up and send the cakes flying!!!

  22. It was brilliant, and yes, she was a worthy winner, and to bring Mary Berry to tears well that finished it for me ... sniff sniff.

I've loved every minute of this series. I'll just have to watch Mary and Paul's Masterclasses to wean myself off it gradually.

  25. "I'm never going to put boundaries on myself again." OK, I don't mean this to be mean or narrow minded, but isn't that useless thing on her beautiful head quite a huge boundary invented by males? Or is that just my ethnocentric conception of it? This show sounds a lot more absorbing than Cupcake Wars. Is it sponsored by a tissue company?
