Bless her x I wish more people sang in public rather than the surly miserable looking s***s I see around at times. Having a bad day and I still do not 'get' bake off lol
I'm always happy and smiley, opening doors for people and chatting to anyone. I get some really weird reactions, people are very wary of friendliness from strangers. Shame.
Aww that was lovely. I get told off if I sing along to the music in shops....my friends and family think its weird. I don't know who I want to win tonight ...probably Nadia..x
Thank You! That was so lovely to hear that song again - made my day. How grand to know that woman sang her song - especially if she was having mental health issues, wish I could do the same :)
I often sing in public, in the hope that it will 'move' people, into another train carriage preferably...'Oh!....Aunty Mary, Had a canary, Up the leg of her drawers'......
What a great voice, I still sing Monday Monday another great song along with California Dreaming. Both on my play list. Kangool what a great word. And now I have a new word for a rain poncho.
Is a kagool like a cagoule but made from kag? And what on earth is a kangool - as mentioned by Mrs A. Parsnip? Probably a cagoule made from kangaroo skin.
The world would be a better place if more people sang out loud instead of yelling at each other. Who among us does not have some kind of mental problem?
Bring on the final, can't wait. What am I going to do next Wednesday evening though. 😞

ReplyDeleteI love that song! :)
ReplyDeleteMama Cass - incredibly talented and gone too soon. Love this song.
ReplyDeleteAnd now I know what a "kagool" is. I hope that lady was happy in spite of her "probably mental health issues" ...
haven't thought about this song in years! thanks!

ReplyDelete...it wouldn't come down for half a crown.....
DeleteIf you don't believe it go and see it up the leg of her drawers
DeleteHer last name was a crossword puzzle clue yesterday. I got it. Go me.
ReplyDeleteI'm sure the woman outside Home Bargains sang it better than Mama Cass.
ReplyDeleteCass wasn't much of a singer.....
I quite long the song, not so keen on the singer.
ReplyDeleteCan't wait the hour 'til the bake off final.

ReplyDeleteI had to google kagool. I had no idea!
ReplyDeleteThe "iniminable" Ms Mama Cass! Ha. But yes she had a lovely voice.
ReplyDeleteIt is Mental Health Week in Australia and the programmes our broadcaster puts together are usually very varied and interesting.
ReplyDeleteI hope that we can all sing our own kind of music. Love your noticing, caring eyes.
ReplyDeleteMaybe she just didn't give a damn what anyone else thought?
ReplyDeleteI hope she was happy
