The Case For The Prosecution Rests........

Now I have posted this comment, that featured in the next post, in way of supporting the somewhat self depreciating reality of my own personalised style
just in case you, dear reader, ever think that I exaggerate my stories...read on
Jason, I thank you

"little tale about John for you....about two weeks ago, we had about 4 days of incessant rain and he was out and about dressed as an Alaskan Crab fisherman in the Berings straits.......he was waterproofed from head to er...well ankle.....because despite all his weather gear and obvious deep rooted awareness not to get his clothes wet in any way shape or form, he had ventured out in the same damn crocs !! he had socks on underneath as well !! what did ZZTOP say ? "Every girls crazy about a sharped dressed man..."....thats not John....he looks like a bag lady always carrying a small bag of dog poo !! - he is has become the Trelawnyd equivalent of the weird cat lady or that lady who sits on a bench in town feeding the disgusting street pigeons and letting them sit on her shoulders ! .....he will go down in history as one of the oddballs of Trelawnyd !!people will be blogging about him in about 50 years.....thats what makes him interesting !!"

    Funny what Jason wrote though!

  2. forgot to mention that his habit of farting every 20 seconds has the effect of some kind of jet propulsion that causes his swalking speed to increase from about 2MPH to around 10MPH.....then he slows back down again as the urge has passed.....one of these days i am going to ask a police officer to train his speed gun on him to get a more accurate reading.

  13. Oh dear...now who have I gotten myself associated with? Ah well, as long as the dogs outnumber the cats, I guess I'll stick with ya! (I really, really wish Chris had a blog, too.)

  14. Interesting and apparently his fashion sense doesn't override his excellence as a quiz partner on quiz night.

I'm sure people have thought the same about me when i wear my foul weather gear about the house if i have to do outside tasks when it's pouring down rain. Although i prefer boots to crocs.

  22. There will be a book written about him yet - or a folk song which will go down in Welsh history. I keep telling him to write the book before somebody else does - if there is money to be made - he should make it!

  33. I know a lot of people who swear by their crocs. If I could get past the price, I'd try a pair.

    Have a great weekend, John!

  35. Just catching up and this made my day. Crocs with socks. Perfect. This is the look we should all aspire too, I know I do. Mine are orange and a little bit chewed by my dogs. They go really well with my pink stripy socks and skinny jeans. Photo please of the 'John Gray look. '
