Now I should be the one slumbering in this photo
Just One hour's sleep in 24..... but as you can see, although I have a face that looks like a duvet in drastic need of an iron....I am still up and trying to look "with it"
Last night was a busy shift and an incredibly sad one
I won't bother elaborating
Chris is enjoying the surprisingly warm afternoon here in North Wales.
The garden is peaceful, and his birthday kindle lies unused.
I feel that we could be expecting the vicar for tea!
Dude him up with a little make up while he is out cold.....then take pictures. The reaction should be priceless.
ReplyDeleteAnd is there honey still for tea?
ReplyDeleteMethinks you have been a mischievious lad, all of your life ;)
ReplyDeleteEnjoy the lovely Month of May, when Chris wakes up, and sees his picture all over the web, you May be banished to the field !
Glad you had a lovely break in Yorkshire...
~Jo
How very Miss Marple.
ReplyDeleteActually you look surprisingly fresh after all your exertions. Ready for a lively theological exchange with the vicar....
ReplyDeleteExpecting the vicar for tea? Best open a tin of salmon then......
ReplyDelete"I feel that we could be expecting the vicar for tea!"
ReplyDeleteyou mean you've been baking as well?
@Kath - I'm predicting a nice trifle as well....
ReplyDeleteAwesome picture, John ! The Devil in your eyes, must rejuvenate you? LMAO
ReplyDeleteThat made me laugh so much! xxx
ReplyDeleteIt's a joy picture John.
ReplyDeleteNice to see you have some sunshine.
we light fires with kindling (for the purpose of eating missionaries round these parts!
ReplyDeleteargh.... unclosed parentheses alert! (see above.....
ReplyDeleteI think I see a little twinkle in your eye...just a tad ornery, aren't we?
ReplyDeleteEnjoy the day.
I see that twinkle in your eye. It is actually a really good photo of you...and then there's Dapper Dan in his bucket hat snoozing away. Does he ever get mussed up? I, too, think you are going to be in big trouble, no more outings for you.
ReplyDeleteGood to see you grin.
Nothing like the warm sun to put you out cold! It works for us too.
ReplyDeleteHappy Birthday to Chris. And John you are NOT in need of an iron....ever hear of the Marlboro Man? Well then....
The Vicar??? Are the crackers still crisp?
ReplyDeleteWhat a super snap! It really made me smile.
ReplyDeleteBut I'm sorry to hear you had a rough night...
ReplyDeletenot as rough as the patient and her relatives kath x
ReplyDeleteLife on the midnight shift. We just keep going and don't know how or why.
ReplyDeleteYou made me laugh with the vicar line.(I'm working at the funeral home.... not supposed to be laughing)
great pic!
ReplyDeleteSorry you had a sad shift :0( but with all that sunshine, i hope it's lifted your spirits a bit, and that you get a wonderful night's sleep.
Haha, a great picture! I hope all is well.
ReplyDeleteThe garden is the best place to be after a hard time
ReplyDeleteDid you tie his shoelaces together while he was asleep?
ReplyDeleteI am sorry about busy and sad shift. Gardens are such healing places ...
ReplyDeleteJohn, you look like I feel!
ReplyDeleteHa Ha the Vicar for tea reminds me of my grand mother who collected Vicars and made a wonderful afternoon tea served from a little trolly my grand father would push into the sitting room. Bone china cups & saucers, teapot & hot water for topping up, freshly baked scones, jam tarts.... happy times - sigh.
ReplyDelete"I feel that we could be expecting the vicar for tea!"... You mean as in the retort, "More tea vicar?" when someone (like Chris) trumpets a THHHRURRRP!
ReplyDeleteIs it just me or are you mirroring the pose of the chook in your header? Though she doesn't look quite so pleased with herself. I LOVE that chook photo. It always makes me smile.
ReplyDeleteLife on the edge at yours, then?!lol (that's 'lots of laughter' in case you were doubtful!)lol
ReplyDeleteOh, your face is adorable and doesn't need an iron at all. But I hope you eventually opened your eyes. Does Chris know you posted that photo of him? Hilarious. (Jerry would not be happy with me if I did something like that.)
ReplyDeleteawww shucks
ReplyDeleteI hope your day has continued to be a peaceful one!!
ReplyDeleteBy the way, you were right about what you said about Scotties on my last post!! Todd even barks at dogs barking on the TV!
