My hens say "thank you" as they gobble down the spaghetti I made just for them today. I saw that on your blog, would never have thought of it myself. XOX
Christmas Day here already - hit 37.5C (100F) in the shade yesterday but we are hoping for a cooler day today.
All quite in the house, Denny's sleeping off a night of chasing possums out of the yard. Rhonda's gone to work for the morning and I'm about to have a nice mug of hot tea!
I tried the spaghetti treat on the wild turkeys, since sadly I have no chickens....it's still in the garden !?
Great picture of Finley he looks like he was smiling .
It's always a happy yet sad time for me Christmas, I can't help but wish I was 'home' huddled down in the village, listening to the church bells ringing, and partaking of Mince Pies and a tipple or two of Harveys Bristol Cream Sherry :) A Merry Merry Christmas dear friends. {Cheers} ~Jo x
Happy Christmas to you and the menagerie. Our wild magpies adore spaghetti too. 36C here yesterday, swimming weather.Today a thunder storm and rain!Great gift for the tanks.Have a wonderful Christmas John.
I reckon that is how I end up looking at the end of a long Christmas day! Finlay - how did a gorgeous Welsh Terrier come to have a Scottish name? Merry Christmas!
OK tell me...why do you lovely folks say Happy Christmas while we over here on the far side of the pond say Merry Christmas ? You are my only wales friend so had to ask. In the meantime...thanks so much for your blog, one of the best gifts I have had all year !!
Woken up at half six by the sound of the little boy next door running round his house. So I got up and went on the net. As the dawn chorus faded away and the first hint of light touched the horizon, I heard a clunk as Sheba burst through the back door and came to check on us.
As I type this (8.17am), the hens have just started muttering among themselves.
Merry Christmas. I'm so stuffed I can hardly waddle to the computer. I'm stretched out in my recliner chair in front of the TV playing Scabble on my phone while the Boxing Day test plays in the background! Hope you have a nice day too. I'm not moving much today.. or eating again either ( famous last words ?!!) Cheers

He looks so happy and content as if he is smiling about a little secret that is only known to himself.
