Thanks to Flower Show Committee Members Anne and Terry , we now have three robust 21st Century signs to publicize the Flower Show which is only a week and a half away.
Schedules (for those that are interested) can be viewed at http://trelawnydflowershow.blogspot.com/
Here's hoping the Flower Show will be supported as much as the Open Allotment Day,.....with Auntie Glad almost back in harness and with a committee of affable despots in tow..I suspect it will be
I always think this is a bit late for flowers John. Our local show is on the last Saturday in August and the flowers are always amazing yet those in my garden are long since over. I must be doing something wrong.

ReplyDeleteif it was up to me I would love the flower show a month earlier....
I agree..... but then there are some beautiful flowers doing their thing in August too, especially those cared for lovingly.
ReplyDeleteCan't keep track of all these village events John. Like Cro, your community just seems to have one long street party.
ReplyDeleteEnvious.
after the 13th chris it goessssssssssssssssssss reallllllllllllllllllllll quiet!
ReplyDeleteGood luck! Have a great time at it.
ReplyDeleteWhat great new signs! Boy it has come up fast! What will you be entering (not to rush you if you were planning on posting about that later).
ReplyDeleteBest of luck to all!
Hope it all works out well and is a great success!
ReplyDeleteWhat a great sign. It looks quite professional and all. There is no way that anybody can miss it. I hope that it will be a great success.
ReplyDeleteAnother event I'd love.
ReplyDeleteWhat fun! You have worked so hard!
ReplyDeleteJust 3 signs I imagine is a reflection on their price! I'm a bit like 'weaver', I would have thought the real flower season was over.... but then, I don't really grow flowers!
ReplyDeleteWe don't have village horticultural or flower shows here... pity!
Hope the show goes well, and that loads of people turn up. I would come, but France is a bit too far away!
ReplyDeleteI wish we lived closer as I'd be there for sure! They certainly have a lot going on in your little village in the summer John...I like that. Our State Fair is next month but at the end of August the little Amish community not far from us has it's Heritage Days and that's always a fun time. Have fun getting ready for the show but don't forget to take time to smell the roses ;)
