John Barry - A Tribute
Yes back on line !
I will write a post on how Constance molested the British Telicom workman later when I have more time..... but first I will leave a brief Tribute to the film composer John Barry who sadly died today aged 77.
He had a sweeping majestic style that graced so many movies, from James Bond, Born Free, Somewhere in Time and Dances with wolves to the likes of Out Of Africa and Zulu
This sweet piece of music is entitled "Crazy Dog" and was written by Barry as a tribute to his dog!

John, thank you for posting that. I got goosebumps listening to that gorgeous music and seeing that delightfully happy dog playing.
ReplyDeleteBorn Free is a wonderful piece.
John Barry was a genius. His CD "Moviola" which was basically his greatest hits album was remarkable and is still one of my all time favourite CD's. "Out of Africa" is spectacular.

I like J.B.'s music, very much. However, this piece is the most dreary and self-indulgent, which, without the video, has no beginning, no middle and no end. Sorry :-S R.I.P.J.B.
