Lambs

The guy that wanted his lambs rearing suddenly wanted payment for them and seemed unwilling to provide appropriate paperwork....
Given the nature of DEFRA regulations....I have now told him I am not interested

  2. Go buy a couple of lambs. Are the pigs going? I remember riding horses through the fields of sheep in Wales. It was glorious!

Sheep manure increases bloom on perennials. You could spin yarn and the dye it, then knit a jumper. What fun! A real cottage industry!

  3. Well, that's too bad, I was wondering about the lambs. I would have done the same as you! Sounds like he was trying to put one over on you!

Jeez, after you got all ready for them! How much does a lamb cost?

What a disappointment! May the bird of Paradise fly up his nose!

  4. Nah, get a couple of little goaties, if you have a choice. Much cuter, and smarter. And, in time, you could have milk and cheese.

  7. John, sorry about the lambs. I think goats are a great idea! We have several farmers that have them on our road--They are cute!

  8. You know how I dearly love my goats, however, the commitment to their health care is much larger then I had anticipated. Be sure to review this link. The goats need everything he lists here.
