I’m busier than ever. Counselling day on a Wednesday has stretched from 9 am to after 6 pm and although I’ve had adequate breaks in between clients , it’s been hot and humid work today, brightened by an appearance by Chic Eleanor who like me is now a sessional counsellor for the charity.
I missed Roger and Mary meeting trendy Carol’s new puppy Gracie.
Apparently it was Mary who was gentle and accepting.
Roger was just, well……fucking baffled

Before melting on the couch . I picked some early hydrangeas
And noticed just one 🐈⬛. In the cottage
All all is right with the world

DeleteDespite the hot weather, my hydrangeas are looking good too. I don't have any with the blue tinge, though. Lucky you. I love that antique jug they're in.

ReplyDeleteI’ve no idea ,,they are potted and I’ve put hails in the compost to change their colour
DeleteTo make hydrangeas blue, you need acidic soil (a pH between 5.2 and 5.5) and the presence of aluminum, which the plant absorbs to create the blue pigment. Without aluminum, the flowers will remain pink, regardless of soil acidity
