I’m busier than ever. Counselling day on a Wednesday has stretched from 9 am to after 6 pm and although I’ve had adequate breaks in between clients , it’s been hot and humid work today, brightened by an appearance by Chic Eleanor who like me is now a sessional counsellor for the charity.
I missed Roger and Mary meeting trendy Carol’s new puppy Gracie.
Apparently it was Mary who was gentle and accepting.
Roger was just, well……fucking baffled
He really is a big girl’s blouse
Before melting on the couch . I picked some early hydrangeas
And noticed just one 🐈⬛. In the cottage
All all is right with the world

I love Hydrangeas! Glad you had a good Counselling day!
ReplyDeleteDespite the hot weather, my hydrangeas are looking good too. I don't have any with the blue tinge, though. Lucky you. I love that antique jug they're in.
ReplyDeleteAfter a long, hot day, it's time to put your feet up and enjoy a refreshing G&T. xx
Time for a cuddle with whichever cat it is!
ReplyDeleteI, too, love hydrangeas and the way they change colors due to the pH of the soil they're planted in!
ReplyDeleteAny photos of Mary and Roger meeting Gracie?
It's delightful to hear how many counselling clients you now have that you're kept busy all day long. Sweet!
We're about to heat up again for several days to the neighborhood of 47*C. No fun!
Hugs!
Both the flowers and the vase are quite beautiful. I keep meaning to cut some flowers but life keeps getting in the way somehow.
ReplyDeleteJack has a new counselor, an odd duck and I don't think she would be at all offended by that description, and she's wonderful with him.
I hope this is a cat that will cuddle. Those hydrangeas are gorgeous.
ReplyDeleteGorgeous flowers, now grab a cat and snuggle!
ReplyDeleteAbsolutely love hydrangeas and they also dry well
