Trelawnyd, for a such a small village of some 300 people, never ceases to surprise me. Now I see that the village will host its own Dog Show next month.
How exciting.
There are just six houses along my bit of the village lane and 12 dogs live here.
So hopefully there will be a few entrants !

What a fun day planned! Will Roger and Mary take you along? xx
ReplyDeleteCertainly, it indicates a village that cares, which is needed in this world that we have to operate in these days.
ReplyDeleteOh I hope Roger and Mary get to show and win! Or just Roger if Mary would be stressed. Time to start practicing lead walking. 'let's play Westminster! Run Run!" Treats given in excess of course.
ReplyDeleteMy money's on Roger. Will they take postal votes?
ReplyDeletePotential for all in chaos!! Our son's family have a 9 month old labradoodle, who's all enthusiasm and bounce and totally devoid of brains. She'd be a nightmare at a dog show!! BTW, I'm slow on the uptake - I've just noticed your new blog description - very cool Mr Gray!!
ReplyDeleteThis sounds like a great event.
ReplyDeleteYour community continues to be the best it can be.
It was recently reported that my community has more dogs than children. We need to have a dog show.
I’m drunk

I wish I lived in a small village with lovely people. Hope you're doing well.
ReplyDeleteHow marvelous! A dog show in a dog-rich part of the world! Just one more delight in Trelawnyd - and a good time will be had by all!
ReplyDeleteHugs!
Our nearby church has a small annual Dog Show. It's all very shambolic, with lots of misbehaving dogs. Sadly we are away these days, but Billy did enter one year, and didn't win anything.
ReplyDeletePerhaps your pups will enter you . . . or is it the other way around? Many years ago my daughter and I entered her dog in a "fun show" and it really was great fun. I hope this show has lots of entries.
ReplyDeleteLove,
Janie
I'm reading back a few posts now, hope you're okay. How wonderful to live in a community like yours.
ReplyDeleteSounds fun! Hope Roger and Mary can be there.
ReplyDeleteI can't wait to hear the description of you at the show.
ReplyDeleteThere was a dog show/fete at the rescue place my little white dog came from 18 months ago......didn't enter him in anything as he would have been asked to leave because of barking at all the others!!
ReplyDeleteTrelawnyd is a village full of surprises. I can’t wait to see this (through your eyes).
ReplyDeleteR.O.G.E.R. ROGER! I really hope he takes part. Looking forward to reading about the antics. xx
ReplyDeleteLooking forward to your reportage on this stellar event! "What larks!"
ReplyDeleteYour village sounds like one from a movie. I am looking forward to seeing some photos of this dog show!
ReplyDeleteThat sounds adorable. I hope that we will get to see some pics. Will you enter Roger or sweet Mary? Your village sounds like the sweetest place to live, John.
ReplyDeleteWell, I can't wait to hear how your canines fare!
ReplyDeleteHow sweet! Your village sounds lovely! xo
ReplyDeleteAt a fete I attended there was a dog show. One of the classes was the the owner who most looked like their pet. I still wonder about the woman who entered that one with her pug.
