DeleteElasticated waists... Yes!
ReplyDeleteThe 29th century’s best invention
DeleteI'm with you on the elasticated waists, too. Life's too short to be uncomfortable! xx
ReplyDeleteHey ho
DeleteI must say that elastic waist bands are a life saver, both physically and mentally.
ReplyDeleteI haven't seen "Amelie" in years. Thank you for reminding me. I loved her in "Dirty Pretty Things" too.

DeleteAfter cleaning teeth putting on stretch pants and a sweatshirt, I sat down and got all my stuff ready for the accountant so he can do my income tax. I had to apologize for not organizing it better but I have trouble seeing properly By the time I got it to him it was noon so I went to KFC for a couple of pieces of chicken. This afternoon I cleaned up the kitchen. We are still waiting for spring, it is raining and temperature is to go down to minus 6 tonight. I am so over winter, i wish I was a drinker! Weaver is starting to sound like she loves you, bringing treats to you. Gigi
ReplyDeleteAmelie..any time.
ReplyDelete❤️❤️❤️❤️
DeleteNice list, John!
ReplyDeleteToday I sewed labels on a baby quilt and two doll quilt I made for a friend granddaughters (yes, big sister gets a doll quilt, too). Also ran the dishwasher and unloaded it when the dishes were cool enough, did a load of laundry, and made a no crust quiche for DS2 who lives next door. I am drinking Crystal Light Peach Tea but may have a "beverage" homemade version of a Screwdriver later as it's been an exhausting day.
Ah, yes ... elastic!
Hugs!
My days sometimes feel like that, just a list of things to do, and done. But no achievements. I agree about Sainsbury's Scotch Eggs; minced cardboard with an over boiled egg.
ReplyDeleteDear Roger..One bemused rabbit?
ReplyDeleteWhy are you guilty about mopping the floor? Or listening to the radio?
ReplyDeleteEnjoying the archers which is pretty dire at times
DeleteLots of things are pretty dire at times!
DeleteA day in the life of You! We should all do a day in the life post.
ReplyDeleteMaybe Roger is out to save all rabbits from Weaver. What a sweetheart. Gwine to run all night... Interesting song to have in your head.
ReplyDeleteIt started as a habit when I was around 14
DeleteYou missed out belching, scratching your arse and farting like the foghorn on Flamborough Head.
ReplyDeleteOh my dear YP I have so many more bad habits
DeleteOh you've reminded me I've not watched Amelie for years. I need to rectify that this weekend. Now I feel guilty ... I bought Alan a Sainsbury's scotch egg. He's obviously not the connoisseur that you are because he loves them, but I should do better!!
ReplyDeleteLet me know your review of it when you revisit , it delights me every time I see it
DeleteAmelie. Long time no watch. I should
ReplyDeleteYou should , it’s a self healing moving
