I've been thinking of you, and hoping you had recovered. Obviously not, and Nights won't help. Hope you're better soon, and that *^# cat behaves herself.
So classy. Haven't watched any yet, I do love watching the snowboarding. Drink lots. My GP told me that having diabetes slows down recovery after viruses. Get better soon. Carole R
So sorry you're working nights with that miserable cold. Do you have Theraflu Cold OTC? It's a powder you mix in hot water and it really works. Hope there is that or something similar in Wales. Sweet dreams as you sleep today.
A bad cold is tedious and tiring. Working nights and not feeling well has to be hard. Barbara Anne's suggestion for Theraflu Cold is a great solution. I use it too and it is very helpful.
Sorry about the cold. Hope it subsides soon. We haven't been watching the Olympics, but I remember watching years ago and developing a crush on a member of the British curling team! Maybe I'm missing out?
I rarely get sick but when I do, the following remedy almost always cures me. Hot tea, whiskey, lemon and honey. Do the chores and set up the second round before finishing the first one. Drink up. Toddle off to bed. Wake slightly hung over but feeling less sick. (I don’t like tea or whiskey. This is medicinal use.)
I usually like to catch some of the events but I’ve really not been in the right headspace to do it. My mum is loving it, she's a massive Olympics fan.
Classy, as we would expect from Italy.

ReplyDeleteSimple classy is good and I think Italy does it so well.
ReplyDeleteSimply classy, just like you and me then?🤣
ReplyDeleteI hope you manage to shake off this dratted bug soon. It's been hanging around for way too long. xx
I have watched nothing yet. Will have to check out the opening ceremony.

ReplyDeleteThe Olympics are a great diversion.
ReplyDeleteI usually like watching the Olympics but this year I am feeling very blah about them so far.

Hugs!

ReplyDeleteI was happy to read that our a-hole VP and wife Usha were mercilessly BOOED at the event. May you be feeling better soon!

ReplyDeleteHaven't got into them yet but do wish I had seen Vance get booed.
