Weaver Hates Snow
Bun ventured out this morning, her button small footprints hardly visible in the carpet of white. Weaver took one long look at the front garden, and with a clear fuck this look on her face, she parked herself next to the fire.
I am with Weaver on this as I hate snow too. My snow shovelers just cleared my snow and brushed off my car so soon I will be venturing out to buy some ingredients for soup making. Just waiting for it to get lighter so I can spot any ice. I have been in the house since New Years eve so am going a little nuts. At least I get to talk to the cashier at the store. My dog doesn’t answer me when I talk to her. Have a good day John, Gigi
I'd have one of those fish-scooping nets handy and toss Weaver into the snow every time she shit or pissed somewhere she shouldn't. But then I am evil, and you are the kindest and most patient animal-carer ever! -Kate
My innies also decided thar snow was not their 'thing'. But the ferals are another story, leaping and rolling in the stuff, seemingly having the time of their life.
What lovely pictures! I was raised in Saskatchewan so mostly out of necessity we learned to enjoy the snow. I'm in Virginia now and I must say that pictures of snow make me think about ice skates and tobogganing. :)
Fresh snow is always so beautiful but we've had a lot of snow and I'm kind of done with it. Apparently we've had 400% more snow in December than the 30 year average. Sigh. It's good for the land as it's been so dry for years, but it does make it hard to drive through:)
Freshly fallen fallen snow is so beautiful! And the strange muffled stillness too. I have no snow here but am doing a new puzzle in the warm as it is so cold outside.
I would have guessed that it was Weaver who ventured out in the snow rather than Bun. Their characters are so different.
Ginger hates snow too, and is determined that if he sits at one door or another waiting to be let out, on one opening of the door it will have all vanished. He is driving me mad, I need to install remote control front and back doors instead of keep getting up and down.
Snow does make everywhere look so pretty, I love the old stone walls.
ReplyDeleteThe original wall in the church is 1600
DeleteIt looks very pretty, but a day to be inside. Comforting food an old B&W film and animals curled up beside you. x
ReplyDeleteRoger just won’t settle
DeleteWhat lovely fresh snow, barely marked by human tread and unmarked by motor car tyres.
ReplyDeleteVirgin 😀🩷🙏😈
DeleteI'm with Weaver on this one. Snuggle up in the warm. xx
ReplyDeleteShe’s no fool
DeleteIt’s beautiful, but I don’t blame Weaver.
ReplyDeleteNo she’s no fool
DeleteI think I'm briefly Team Bun, then switching to Team Weaver. It looks pretty though.

ReplyDeleteI’m not a lover
DeleteWeaver's got the right idea - lovely to look at, but only from the inner side of window.
ReplyDeleteUndisturbed snow is so beautiful when contemplated from the warmth of indoors. Weaver has the right idea.
ReplyDeletewhat lego are you building
ReplyDeleteToucan
DeleteLovely photos of your snow but Lego and books and staying indoors are my idea of a good time. I'm with Weaver in staying warm.
ReplyDeleteEnjoy today!
Hugs!
The snow makes a beautiful white landscape. It's one of those days for layers. Stay warm.

ReplyDeleteYou seem to be much colder (or maybe just wetter) than we are, though we have snow coming in a day or two.

Not at all bun follows us in walks as Albert used to . Weaver can’t be arsed
DeleteIt is good to get out.. to just change the air in your lungs as grandma said...and she was right....but only just long enough for that, this weather!!
ReplyDeleteIt’s bloody cold my gal
DeleteLovely pictures, I see your home is semi detached, do you have nice neighbours?
ReplyDeleteSailor John and the lovely Mandy …….top notch people
