Haggis

 I cooked haggis for lunch
Believe me there is nothing nicer than sliced haggis, fried alongside an egg.
Bloody lovely
I added boiled broccoli to balance out my sugars and drank a couple of jugs of ice cold water.
I also caught up with some friends on line
Bantering conversations about how crap LOTR movies are
Silliness and stimulation , I like to call it.
Food for the schoolboy who still lurks underneath my breastbone

I’m working two nights

  1. And now I’m hungry?
Anything LOTR is worth my time.

  3. I'm so old, I had to look up what LOTR means! I read the books, many moons ago, but the films are not my thing. They go on even longer than the books! But if it's your thing, go for it.
When are you able to give up working nights? They must really bugger up your metabolism. xx

Ummmm ... no, thank you. Shudder! I'll pass on the haggis and have only the egg.
Hope you're feeling 100% better now so these two nights won't flatten you.
On Sunday and the week after, I might be missing as a power outage is likely when this huge storm ("Fern") arrives Saturday night. Hope and pray the power stays on!

    Hugs!

  7. No thanks on the haggis. Glad you are feeling better, John. I am too.

  8. I'll pass on the haggis as well. I wonder how many people see that video and think it's real (in the US for instance)?

  9. On every breakfast buffet in Scotland, the best I had was in a pub in Edinburgh. Well made, it is tasty.
