  5. Very wise to breathe through a scarf. I learned that in my Yorkshire childhood.

You look well dressed for the cold there. Have you heard that there's no bad weather, just insufficient clothing?
Today we're having a typical brief few days of warm weather and it was 21*C!

    Hugs!

  11. Well, believe it or not, I wish we could share some of the cold! Here in North Texas it seems we are going to skip winter altogether! Incredible that we are into January with, I think, one night below freezing. Short sleeves and a t shirt to walk my dogs just now. 4:00 in the afternoon and 25°C! Flowers all still blooming as if it were Spring already! Have lived here for 8 decades and never known weather like this. How can perennials "come back" if they have never left? The lowest forecast for the next ten days is one night 3°C.
Hope you stay warm, John. ☀️☀️ Sharing!

  14. It warmed up to -7 today. We've been hovering in the -20s since before Christmas. Then factor in the windchill it's felt like -35. Just waiting for the -40s that always hit by February...

  15. And in my part of the world it's freakishly warm this week. I walked the dogs in shorts tonight! Crazy.

    Stay warm, John. ❤️

It was above freezing overnight here, meaning the snow melted off my car so I will be able to go to Costco for a walk about this morning provided that there is no ice on the ground. The temperature is to go up to 4C here by noon. It won’t last long then we too will be freezing again, i have not worn my lovely wool Scottish scarf yet this year. But do wear a hat if the temperature drops below freezing. I love your outfit. Use those furry roommates to keep warm John. Gigi
