Someone’s Darling

A praying mantis holding up Christmas lights, just part of a collection of Christmas gifts I’m getting ready to post to friends in Australia . It’s a tradition I’ve kept for years now.

Sending odd Christmas decorations in the post….its comforting as it is regular .

I had lunch with Chis Eleanor…soup and a cheese panini and we put the world to rights.
It’s lovely to be called darling, several times…in a conversation .
It’s a treat.

I wish it happened to everyone, every day
To be referred to as someone’s darling,……

Yes, having someone call you darling, knowing they love you. Everyone should have that. xx

What a cute decoration and am sure your Aussie friends will love it! My dear Aussie quilting friend and sister died in early September and I will miss her forever.
Yes, endearments like 'darling' warm the heart.
May the rest of your day be as joyful as your lunch with Chic Eleanor!

    Hugs!

I once read that dogs are ideal at counselling, they just free-lance!

The door-greeter at the store I do groceries once a week always wishes me at leaving: 'have a wonderful day, darling'. Last week I told him I always look forward to hearing him say that. It makes my day .. and I think that made his!

  7. I'll remember to incorporate more "my darlings" into conversations. Up to now it's only been Handsome, Gorgeous, and Sweetie-pie. And I know how good it feels to be addressed in these ways.
