La boda de Luis Alonso (G. GimΓ©nez)

I worked last night, and it’s raining right now which has meant that the cottage is cold and unwelcoming once I dragged myself out of bed.
One of the twins has peed on my trendy fox cushion
Leaving a nasty smell, so I’m off to buy food, cleaning materials and a treat
I feel a scotch egg moment coming on
I’m also going to price a few cars up as it’s almost time to replace Bluebell
The old girl needs replacing after seven years loyal service
But I will be upset when she goes.
I really will

To add some colour to the drab day I will leave you with the Zaruzala performance by Talia Grupo
No choir just the music and dance

Quite lovely

Tomorrow I’m meeting Chic Eleanor for drinks and theatre “ Darling Pick you up at midday! Let’s be decadent !” Was her message from this morning.

    2. Cats pee on pillows to mark territory, due to medical issues like urinary tract infections, or because of stress, anxiety, or changes in their environment. Other reasons include dissatisfaction with their litter box or a desire to bond with you by mixing scents. To address the behavior, a vet visit is essential to rule out health problems. Additionally, cleaning the area thoroughly, identifying and reducing stressors, ensuring a clean litter box, and providing security and comfort can help resolve the issue.

    3. I've had cats that peed on my bed when they were mad at me. I am quite sure this was intentional.

Music and dance are such a delightful start to my day - ta, John!
Bother about the stinky cushion. Hope some cleaning product works a miracle on the pillow and the Scotch egg warms the cockles of you heart.

    Hugs!

  5. Such grace. I dance like a hippo!
Is the cushion washable? A quick whizz in the washing machine if so. I remember an un-neutered Tom getting into our house and spraying in my son's bedroom. The stench was awful. I was about to take the room apart, piece by piece to source the smell, when I spotted the spray on his TV. Phew! A few squirts of cleaning spray and all was well!
I think you have a few blog readers who will be sad to see Bluebell go. But, I guess, nothing lasts forever and you do need a reliable car. xx

  10. What kind of car might you look for. A Land Rover or a Jeep will last ''forever' '. I cried every time I traded in one of my Jeeps, still regret a couple...we become attached, don't we.
    Have fun w Chic E!

  12. Good luck with the cushion.
Great the fish and chips helped.
Now just the right car to find.
