Bun is in the garden and Weaver is proudly sitting in the living room. It’s warm and sunny and I’m returning to work on nights tonight.
I met chic Eleanor this morning for breakfast. We had a full English which she described as gloriously decadent. She is a stunningly attractive woman who reminds me of Lee Remick and I love that she has the habit of holding my arm when she is moved or emotional .
It was nice to catch up
Lovely photos. I love people who are like you describe Chic Eleanor. I love being touched by people dear to me.
ReplyDeleteChic Eleanor does sound like a beautiful woman inside and out.
ReplyDeleteLucky you with the sunshine. It didn't quite reach us this far north today.
It's sunny here today too, although there is a cool wind. Lovely to have breakfast with a lovely lady.
ReplyDeleteSounds a lovely start to the day. Wishing you a peaceful night at work.
ReplyDeleteAaahhh, sunshine!
ReplyDeleteI hope the rest of the day (and night) continues in the same vein. Peaceful and surrounded by beauty and love. xx
ReplyDeleteBreakfast with a friend and relaxed cats.. can't fault that!
ReplyDeleteBreakfast of a full English with chic Eleanor is a delightful way to start the day, especially when you have a night shift coming up.
ReplyDeleteLove the pictures of your lovely garden and contented Weaver, too.
Please hug your employed co-workers for me tonight as I am so very pleased you're all still there. Hope the shift is calm and peaceful for all.
Hugs!
your sunny-side-up blog post has made a dent in the leaden skies and corresponding mood in Yorkshire!!
ReplyDeleteWeaver has grown into such a beautiful cat.
ReplyDeleteJohn, have a good night at work. I hope the lovely day you’re having continues. Take care. Carol in Atlanta
ReplyDeleteA nice day and a long night.
ReplyDeleteHope you have a good night. x
ReplyDeleteHope your night shift goes smoothly.
ReplyDeleteNothing better than a full English or Scottish breakfast to keep you going. You sound so much better now and we too have a beautiful warm sunny day here, always good for your mood. Gigi
ReplyDeleteYou may be pleased to hear that we did NOT enjoy a nice, sunny day here in Sheffield. It was overcast and quite chilly but it did not rain.
ReplyDeleteHow are you doing with your counseling patients? And also how is your arm progressing. You have been so concerned about the lay offs that I don’t believe that you have mentioned these topics lately. I’m hoping both are on the upswing. 🙏
ReplyDeleteI must say, that's a very beautiful cat.
ReplyDeleteI love that you had such a string of nice days...after such a stretch of stressful ones.
