I’ve not shown this video before as it didn’t feature the lisping choir …it’s it’s a masterclass in Spanish zarzuela
I was in the audience for this, and I can tell you the hairs on the back of my head were raised throughout
It’s hot today, around 30 degrees. I’ve cleaned the cottage after sleeping a few hours and braved the cat litter tray with a heavy heart and a stomach lining in my gullet.
Weaver is out hunting.
I wouldn’t be at all surprised if I caught her trying to pull a dead buffalo through the cat flap one day. Bun is curled up on my bed clutching a sock
How the two girls are so different never ceases to amaze me.
Mary has bald patches after her phantom pregnancy and Roger has learned to squeeze himself through the cat flap but unfortunately only outwards rather than inwards
No news today
Thinking of you. Hoping for good news.
ReplyDeleteHas Weaver steered clear of the ponies? Thinking of you and your colleagues.
ReplyDeleteThese days of waiting are long. Your animals have their own world going, separate from the humans.
ReplyDeleteOh, God, John, they're really dragging it out! I hope you all find out soon what's happening. Not knowing is the worst thing.
ReplyDeleteYour animals are all showing their distinct personalities! We no longer have cats, but I was always on litter (and cat vomit) duty, as my sense of smell was virtually non-existent. A blessing in disguise! xx
Amazing video - ta for posting it, John!
ReplyDeleteI love everything on your window sill (including that sweet cat sculpture) and the view of Weaver in your lovely garden outside the window.
Blessings on you and your co-workers who are all on this unwelcome tightrope.
Hugs!
Thanks for the update - hated to ask. And I love the images of Bun with her buffalo and Roger squeezing through the cat flap - our little dog periodically works her way along the fence checking to see if her head fits between each set of uprights. Nope, never does. Hope springing eternal.

Good to see your post.
ReplyDeleteIt is amazing how cats can have such different personalities. We are down to three blacks now, one is an old soul and smart as a whip, the other boy is “uncomplicated” , the girl is quite private and a very good hunter. A tip for those who need it oven gloves are the best thing to catch a mole that is trying to dig its way out of your dining room
Hope you get news soon and it is as good as it can be.
Hahaha, Weaver is giving you a rather menacing glare from the garden. "Have you cleaned my cat box yet, servant?" she demands.
ReplyDeleteglad to hear from you.... sorry you are still in limbo.... a hard place to be

It's possible the cats have two different fathers. That could explain the difference in their characters.
ReplyDeleteFingers (and everything) crossed for good news on the job front. Miss Sheva has so far only caught 2 white butterflies, both still alive and let go and one very dead baby blue tit. But every morning I come down to a very dead large spider and she has taken to using the back doormat as her litter tray! Another tray purchased and put in that place. Cats! Xx
ReplyDeleteOh darn it, still waiting. I can't believe them whoever can't be more timely in delivering the news. They must know it is taking a toll on their staff and others...tsk. It's amazing how cats are so different. My lot are like chalk and cheese, but the two youngest hang around together and the baby (6ish months) is like glue to her "brother"I often find them curled around each other asleep. Sounds like Weaver is the "fighter"and Bun the "lover". Love your window ledge.
ReplyDeleteIt was good to see a post from you. It was a great video and picture as well. This waiting must be excruciating.
