What went wrong!? Was the treatment still effective? Was this the nurse who was so cold and uncaring last time---she is nicer now? Or a new person. Feel better.
My husband also has monthly injections for macular degeneration but just before he goes in a member of staff administers a drop of something (sorry, don't know what) which causes freezing. Fortunately he has never felt any pain.
What happened exactly? The nurse was startled and jabbed the wrong area? I hope it heals quickly. How is your arm doing? Sending best wishes your way. Linda from PA
From an expert on too much crud dropping out of the sky....I say go for the eye patch. Mysterious, magic, melodramatic....and a people magnet. Just what you need, not just a sympathy getter but a chance to be a diva. But I am so sorry you are getting all this $&/*. The very last person that needs it. Get over here for a hug and chips!
Just thinking about it gives me the heebie jeebies! You poor thing. I had a hard time thinking about having cataracts removed, but in reality, by the time they put in a gazillion drops, I felt nothing, nor did I care. Slight sedation so I wouldn't move during the procedure also made me not give a damn when they started the operation.
Oh, OUCH! Hope the blood is reabsorbed quickly and your vision is okay. My monitor died so have been gone for 6 days. Glad to be back and will play catch-up!
Oh no... what a bitch of a thing to have happened. Eye pain is the worst... I hope you heal quickly and it loses the soreness overnight. An eyepatch or sunnies for you my friend. You could go aviator and look swish for the photos.
After my cataract lens replacement some years ago, one eye bled...the whole sclera was bright red, and the blue iris made quite a contrast. As you know, the eye does not have much circulation or absorption, so it took mine a week to look quasi normal. Hope yours are not that way. I'm sorry my friend.
That must have been awful, i hope you never have another jab in your eye and that this one does what it's supposed to do. you need to reward yourself. Scotch egg fest? Betty
The eye patch might be good for when you are out and about. Would it also help to rest the eye while healing or not be a good idea? I don't know much about eye injections.
What a fuss over nothing and by that I mean your followers replies. Well thank the Lord that it is only a bruised eye and not cancer or something actually serious.
You can always tell people you're a cage fighter? Hope it doesn't hurt. I had shingles in one eye once, so know exactly what eye pain feels like.
