I was in two minds about going to London today
I’m not quite in the mood.
But a long conversation with my Sheffield friend John changed my mind
He more or less said “ For fuck’s sake go”
My friends have come up trumps recently
Trendy Carol’s hubby had already asked if he could take the dogs today ( he misses them when I’m on holiday) so I’ve got a cheap ticket to London with my railcard and I’m off to the Opera House
I will report on the quality of the willies later
Good for you. Sometimes we need to Just. Do. It.... even if it takes a kick up the bum first. Enjoy.
ReplyDeletesometimes it's the act of dispelling all the reasons not to do something and just going and doing it that gives us the biggest feeling of satisfaction.... dunno would you call it self motivation or summat? i dunno.... i always say there's a million reasons to NOT go jump in the nearest reservoir, but when i do, it's the best buzz knowing that i've quashed all them negative waves man!!
ReplyDeleteIf that curtain call is any indication the willies were fantastic.. happy that you got off your rump and went to see it. Gigi
ReplyDeleteGo for it and enjoy.
ReplyDeleteHope you have an amazing time.
ReplyDeleteGood on ya! Getting out and about and enjoying the ballet will help dispel those negative thoughts and feelings. Enjoy yourself. xx

ReplyDeleteGood decision. Just go for it.
ReplyDeleteI hope you have binoculars? Or close up seats? And good train luck both ways!
