I’m working at the hospice all day today
Later I will get my overall grade for my Counselling Cert
And already I’ve had messages of support from my supervisor, my personal counsellor and my peers…
Today the University Board pass our portfolios
And After Three long years
I am suddenly, at 63, a trained counsellor!π©·
π¨πΌπand I can own the feeling that I’m incredibly proud of my achievement
Hey fucking ho!
Cap n gown
Go figure
Huge Congratulations John! We knew you'd do it, but YOU were the one doing the hard grind, fitting it into an already busy life. I'm in awe of your perseverance and professionalism. That cap and gown are so well deserved. Yahoo!!!
ReplyDeleteCongratulations! Never was a qualification more deserved. There are going to be some very lucky people who have you as their counsellor. And we want a photo of you in that cap and gown, please!π§πxx
ReplyDeleteI second the comment from happy hooker. Well done, John. x

ReplyDeleteHow utterly bloody brilliant to start the day with such good news! We all knew you have always been an empath, an old soul and a warm heart - truly a born counsellor. But now you have a piece of paper that officially proves it and lets you cock a snook to the rest of the world.
ReplyDeleteAnd never, ever, underestimate the courage and resolve it took to do this huge life change when working full time in a draining and difficult job not many people could even think of doing, while also living a life alongside. Oh, we are so proud of you mate. Onwards and upwards indeed.
Well done John.....I hope that you enjoy your new career. Proud of you.
