On the way home

The Piazza Restaurant at the Royal Opera Housewas lovely, the Maître d charming and she soon found out we were twins sort of celebrating our birthday. (Hence the chocolate message )

The ballet was lovely not as charming as Don Quixote, but robust and dramatic with more death scenes you could shake a cod piece at

What a delightfully memorable couple of days, topped off with chocolate birthday confection. Sweet, in more ways than one!
A premature or belated welcome home!

    Hugs!

  2. I am glad that all went according to plan and that you are on your way back to Welsh Wales having survived The Smoke once again. Lovely to spend quality time with your twin sister.

Happy Birthday to the Twins!!! We need a picture of both - you and your sister - not a cheeky reply of the feline twins!

    2. I think there's a pic of John and Janet on the right sidebar, about 7 down from the top cartoon of John.

I completely understand John. I don't like my photo taken either. Glad you and your sis had a wonderful time. I enjoyed London also when we visited a few years ago. Your cod comment is hysterical!!! Thanks for the morning laugh!

wishing you and your sister a belated (I believe) Birthday! Lovely you could share time together...and yes...that Maitre De (sp)....provided her chocolate wishes as well! Though not sure you were able to partake of that...but the thought was just perfectly from the heart.

I think everyone in the world loves London but sadly not me. We were there a lot when we had our catamarin built in Southend on sea, the asshole of the earth. We had to buy all the bits for the boat in London at a time , 1989 when no one seamed to be working and it was hard to find a matching set of anything. The only other times I was in London was passing through Heathrow, a nasty experience. I was stopped once and accused of having plastic explosives! An hour later they apologized and our whole group were allowed to continue. Sadly, now I will never have the opportunity to see London as most people do. I am happy that you and Janet had a great time on your birthday weekend. Gigi
