Sweet! The beginning of The Peaceable Kingdom, cottage style. Sweet dreams to you and hope you had some lovely cold medicine (like our TheraFlu) to waft you serenely to dreamland.
Black cats are the most difficult to photograph, especially in a dimly lit room. I can see Mary, but as far as Bun is concerned all I can see is a big black area and two beautiful, expressive eyes! 🐱 😸 👀 Jean.
Awww! I wonder of Bun is going to become the dominant one of the twins? I do hope the meds kick in and you're feeling better very soon. Getting sick before winter has really kicked in is Just Not Fair!
Not long now before they'll be snuggled up together and inseparable. I can picture Bun being Mary's little black shadow! Hope you're starting to recover. xx
Now to bring together world leaders, sequester them in a village in Wales, and wait for them to figure out how they really all need one another in peace.
Friendships between a dog and a cat are always so charming! Back when Tia and Eddie were with us, Eddie the cat would curl up on top of Tia the german shepherd to sleep. It was such a lovely thing to see.
Mary has turned away

ReplyDeleteIts funny how they circle each other warily and tetchily even when they really want to be friends. I think you did right to just let it slowly happen.
ReplyDeleteThere’s a metaphor for human friendships/relationships there! A heartwarming sight. Hope you soon feel better.

ReplyDeleteYou've handled it all perfectly. Our animals have always found their way to each other, with little intervention from us.
