My thoughts are with fellow blogger Yael tonight
As the bombs reign on Israel in this fruitless, mad stupid conflict
I’m tired after a full day in college and I’m off to bed early before another 12 hour shift tomorrow
Bake Off then bed.
Very rock n roll
Sending love to all affected by the conflict. It is so sad that those with power don't learn from history and it's the "ordinary" people who suffer.
ReplyDeleteSleep well, you need it. I am shattered just thinking about all you do. xx
Thank you John, it was scary, I got out of the shelter an hour ago and I'm still alive.
ReplyDeleteGood to hear that you are OK Yael x
DeleteRelieved to see that Yael. Sending a little cyber-love from the mountains of AZ. --Elise
DeleteWhat welcome news that you're safe and sound, Yael. I so wish everyone, everywhere could be safe and sound every day and every night.
DeleteHugs!
Good to hear from you, Yael.
DeleteGlad to hear you're okay, Yael. I was thinking of you today and hoping you were safe.
DeleteI am glad you were safe. War is terrifying and heartbreaking.
DeleteLike others here, I watched on TV with great sadness. Please know you are never far from my thoughts dear Yael. Kath x
DeleteThank goodness, and thank you for sharing that you are. A lot of minds will be put at rest. xx
DeleteWar is just so unbearably sad and pointless 😥
ReplyDeleteAlison in Wales x
So glad to hear you’re safe Yael……stay safe x
ReplyDeleteHope you've had some nutritious meals before you sleep to prepare for your long shift tomorrow. Are you sure you're not burning the candle at both ends?
ReplyDeleteWonderful music!
Hugs!
Yael, I watched and listened to the conflict on cnn this afternoon. I am so glad you are OK. It must be very scary. John rest well! You are such a busy boy. Gigi
ReplyDeletePeace on Earth. Love to all.
ReplyDeleteIt is the power hungry, who continue this. Hugs.
The leadership is making no progress toward ending war. I feel very sorry for all the innocent people that are put in harms way. My thoughts are with you. Living through this has to be frightening.
ReplyDeleteYes, and there's no end in sight to that war, not even remotely in sight.
ReplyDeleteYael your being safe is a relief and an answer to prayers, rest as well as you can,-Mary
ReplyDeleteJohn I hope you sleep well and don't feel too tired
ReplyDeletetomorrow,-Mary
I think of poor Yael often, but these monsters need to be stopped. Hezbollah exists only to kill and cause mayhem.
ReplyDeleteThank you all for the kind words and John for the good friendship.
ReplyDeleteLovely music, lovely costumes! Yale, I often think of you amid the turmoil. Margaret B.
ReplyDeleteYael, I do not know you, and yet, my heart breaks for you and your people. I don't know why the slaughter of innocents continues in this day and age. As long as toxic males (and not all males are toxic) run the world, there will be no peace. The history books are full of them and their cruel legacy. Here in the U.S., we are the closest we've ever been to a matriarchy, and the dying patriarchy is fighting back dirty and hard, and is only fueling the oppressed women and others to take charge. God or whatever, help us all.
ReplyDeleteToxic males? There have been women in power and not all good women, you need to read your history books Kara.
DeleteI've been thinking about Yael as well, hoping she is safe.
ReplyDeleteI'm glad to hear that Yael is all right. I hope for peace and safety everywhere.
ReplyDeleteHope you are resting well, John, before your busy day.
We stand with Israel alongside you
