Conflict

My thoughts are with fellow blogger Yael tonight
As the bombs reign on Israel in this fruitless, mad stupid conflict

I’m tired after a full day in college and I’m off to bed early before another 12 hour shift tomorrow
Bake Off then bed.

Very rock n roll

  1. Sending love to all affected by the conflict. It is so sad that those with power don't learn from history and it's the "ordinary" people who suffer.
Sleep well, you need it. I am shattered just thinking about all you do. xx

What welcome news that you're safe and sound, Yael. I so wish everyone, everywhere could be safe and sound every day and every night.

  8. The leadership is making no progress toward ending war. I feel very sorry for all the innocent people that are put in harms way. My thoughts are with you. Living through this has to be frightening.

  9. Yes, and there's no end in sight to that war, not even remotely in sight.

  12. I think of poor Yael often, but these monsters need to be stopped. Hezbollah exists only to kill and cause mayhem.

  15. Yael, I do not know you, and yet, my heart breaks for you and your people. I don't know why the slaughter of innocents continues in this day and age. As long as toxic males (and not all males are toxic) run the world, there will be no peace. The history books are full of them and their cruel legacy. Here in the U.S., we are the closest we've ever been to a matriarchy, and the dying patriarchy is fighting back dirty and hard, and is only fueling the oppressed women and others to take charge. God or whatever, help us all.

Toxic males? There have been women in power and not all good women, you need to read your history books Kara.
