End of Term

My group today ( in part)

 Last day in University today.
It was nice that all of us are through with no drop outs.
We start again September 10th and all have summer placements as trainee counsellors.
Tomorrow I meet my supervisor in the morning, then village leader Ian in the afternoon to sort out this year’s Flower Show.
I think I’m off to the cinema at teatime too
I would like this photo of villager Jenny with her prize winning jam from last years show to be on the front of this year’s schedule

What do you think?

Jenny's picture captures a lot of drama and emotion for sure, but I can't tell what kind of jam it was, which adds an element of mystery.

You might want to ask Jenny if using her photo is okay with her. Just sayin'!

    Hugs!

  6. Congratulations on being a trainee counselor!
If Jenny has a sense of humor she may not mind that photo being on the schedule,if it were me,though, I would want to be asked first, and would ask you to use a more flattering photo of me .. -Mary

  8. Wonderful feeling when you have made it through the first year. How many hours do you have to do in your placement? I love the picture and if it can't be used how about one of the funny shaped veg and fruit that were entered over the years.

It’s a different photo aimed at attracting a different punter?

  14. I think you should ask Jenny for her permission. It is a great picture that captures something of the essence of village flower shows. I hope she won't mind.

That's a cracking example of what the village show is all about. Immortalise Jenny in all of her glory; to act as a reminder of what it's all about! Congratulations on getting through this semester with all of your contempories intact! Such and achievement you are all on your way.

No ,she is not Keith. She is Jenny and she should have won first prize for her animation and personality. Never mind about the jam.

  26. Your group photo at end of term makes me think of how much you have already achieved when times have been so hard.

Jenny's photo would be a good one for the programme I agree.

Love the idea for the front of the programme. The idea that a picture is worth a thousand words comes to mind John. She is saying 'If I can win second prize anybody can' but I hope she is thinking 'I'll try to for first next year!'
