Through the letter box this afternoon , a short essay
Enjoy
Its 15.00 and I am home after my counselling placement induction. It didn’t start until 10 am so I like an old rocker I slept in the car after night shift in the car park.
A wash of the face and I was ready to go.
Off to bed

ReplyDeleteBravo Mrs Trellis. A good story is what leads you in and keeps you reading and you don’t see the end. How lovely that she wrote the story and she gave it to you. And now people everywhere are reading it, Creativity should always be encouraged along with some fun. I’d like to be sitting on that train going to London Town where there are shiny faces. Jean in Winnipeg.
ReplyDeleteI remember those trains, and chasing the seagulls along the platform waiting for the train to arrive.

ReplyDeleteBravo Mrs T
ReplyDeleteWell done, Mrs. Trellis!
ReplyDeleteI am quite taken with the positioning of the holes.
ReplyDeleteIslwn and now Mrs Trellis both enjoying the blog in different ways.
ReplyDeleteIt’s a good natured and sweet look at a world we hope is still very much alive but, one which seems to be lost with cynicism and ridicule.
I noted the earlier insult and hope Mrs Trellis didn’t read it for it was cruel and not worthy of anyone who could string a few thoughts and actions together.
You can see Mrs Trellis as she probably very much is, a delightful, slightly eccentric lady with an erect bobble hat
Lee

ReplyDeleteOh, I'm afraid I was a bit-thickheaded on this one. Didn't know I actually was supposed to read the letter. I have now, and it's a definite improvement over "I think I can...I think I can..." Give my regards to Mrs. Trellis.
