No work today!!!!!
I want to go to the cinema but there’s nothing of note to go and see during the day.
I will mooch through NETFLIX later, me thinks
My phone was pinging busily earlier,
My college Counselling group.
The grades are out on our first research pieces of work
B- for my Essay and B- for my poster and presentation
Marks I’m very happy with and lots of room for improvement which I need.
Lots of deliveries today
A book from Nu, Bespoke scotch eggs from Colin, Bombay gin from Trendy Carol ( sporting something festive in red and white)
Congratulations on the good grades and no work today!
ReplyDeleteThank you, Chic Eleanor texted me this afternoon and we met for a drink in the crown
DeleteCongratulations on the B grades. Well deserved! If there's nothing on Netflix, snuggle up with the furries and read your book, whilst nibbling a Scotch egg and sipping a gin. Too windy to be out anyway. xx
ReplyDeleteI met up with Eleanor for a hug earlier and had a beer
DeleteWell done on your grades John. Hope you have a peaceful and happy Christmas.
ReplyDeleteAnd you deArheart xx
DeleteCongrats on completing your term successfully, especially with all else going on around you. I wish you a happy and contented Christmas and New Year! Gigi
ReplyDeleteMuch appreciated Gigi and same to you xx
DeleteGood grades indeed for your first term John. Well done.
ReplyDeleteA useful start of which I’m rather proud, given my inability to understand general IT
DeleteWell done! The confession/counseling similarities/differences project is especially fascinating to me, something to research! Along with scotch eggs - since I don't much like hard boiled eggs I'm not sure why I find them so interesting. The contrasting textures, perhaps?
ReplyDeleteCheers going into the weekend.

Ceci this paper was the first research paper of its kind

The above comment was me and I did type my name in first. Curious.

DeleteHi John
ReplyDeleteI'm travelling, but doing ok. It's a bit of a chore, and am pretty worn out by the evening, but...I'm doing it.
I hope you have a good christmas, in my early professional years I often had duty on either the eve or the day. I don't remember minding it, until the kids got born.
Take care,
Mike
I send you a big hug ….oh one day to share a nice wine on a porch with you swapping stories
DeleteXx

DeleteA book, Scotch eggs, a bottle of gin. Sounds like a nice dinner in.
ReplyDeleteWell done on your grades John. Merry Christmas ❤️🎄xx
ReplyDeleteScotch eggs and gin - perfect!
ReplyDeleteGrade B: "John is easily distracted and though Grade B is quite acceptable there is obviously room for improvement."
ReplyDeleteCongratulations on your grades. I think you are doing very well with your course while juggling everything else in life.
ReplyDeleteCongratulations.
ReplyDeleteA B and a -B are good grades, just enough room to be able to do better, but perfectly adequate in their own right - well done.
ReplyDeleteI don't know if you have already seen it or if you have Amazon Prime, but Saltburn was released yesterday and seems quite promising. I missed being able to see it at the cinema (and therefore saved myself quite a bit of money) so I'll watch it later if I manage to build my gingerbread house.
