Dressing up

This morning I met Chic Eleanor for a walk and breakfast and wore a new shirt to mark the occasion.
She noticed it too, as she has a want to notice everything and made a fuss accordingly
“Darling, I’m loving the LOOK !”she called out kissing me three times on the cheeks
And I preened with embarrassment.
It was lovely to catch up with her this morning.

Sometimes my blog comments are more entertaining than the blog entries themselves.
Yesterday’s telling off from the troll is one example ….priceless

Wat's funny about stealing? Those people will have worked hard for the money to buy bulbs and some scrote steals them.

    1. Nice shirt. I hope you managed to keep the food away from it! Perhaps we should have a whip round to buy the troll a dictionary? 📖 xx

    3. Love it ... both the shirt and the exchange. :-)
Trolls are priceless aren't they, always in the right, always completely and totally obnoxious and always hovering hoping to catch you out. They obviously have sad, sad unhappy little lives.

Aren't trolls supposed to stay under bridges?

    7. LOVE the shirt! So stylish and breezy. Oh, the trolls. The Internet was invented just for them, wasn't it?! Playing God anonymously from afar...perfect vocation for them. A POX on them all, as we go skipping off happily into our beautiful lives! A big hug and a chuckle for you, John!

You completely missed the point of the incorrect spelling of atrocious, have you ever heard of irony?
In case you haven't it was Anon's emphasis on your own bad spelling skills!

      7. Not only a blog post about Anon comments but a continuation in the comments section here too.
A good way to encourage more of them.
Not long ago you asked people not to answer the troll but now it seems they're entertainment.
It's your blog of course but you can do better than encourage time wasting trolls.
        The new shirt is nice.

Oh dear "Cath" you seem to have been rather foolish, if you check your dictionary you'll see the word is "aren't" and not "arn't" so I guess you should just walk away yourself

    21. That's a great shirt, John. In the 80's, Friday's I'd shed my button-down blue shirt and tie for a loud aloha shirt. I had several vintage Hawaiians that would catch one's eye from afar. They went well with my white coat and stethescope.
