Pounds and Ounces

Weigh in at fat club yesterday
Another loss….I’ve now got rid of almost one stone ( 13.2 lbs)
And yes I am feeling the benefit of it already.
My work pants are loose and almost fell down as I was helping a lady onto a commode on nights

So what am I doing today ? I’m going out for lunch with my family ! Go figure diet.
I will be good the rest of the day, I will fast a bit and I’m meeting Gorgeous  Dave  later for a theatre trip ( ooooohhh how pretentious !)

It’s cold today and blustery.
And Ive made the effort for my family and have trimmed my beard and found a jumper without a hole in it to wear. Lunch out is a new tradition we have started recently. It feels all rather civilised.
Probably it’s just the fact that we don’t like late nights much anymore, even Chic Eleanor after she booked the silent disco for us in St Asaph Cathedral left the caveat “ I ve booked us the early session 😂6.30 to 9.40 oldies…bed by 10pm !”

Nothing else to report.
The flowering current in the garden is in blossom and has lifted the garden’s spirits into spring.

I do love me a pretentious fellow, and crocs are fine with me. That anonymous should do what I did last night and watch the ballet trockadaro dancing the dying swan and let his/her hair down a bit. You are doing so well on the diet, congrats. Please just stay the way you are and have a fun pretentious day with gorgeous Dave. Scruffy GG

  5. Brilliant weight loss. Doesn't it feel good when clothes suddenly become too big? It is a bit pretentious going out for lunch and wearing jumpers sans holes (she said very much tongue in cheek!) Pretentious - moi? xx

  6. Aside from a dinner out ending before 9, we don't do late nights anymore. It's an ageing thing. If your pants are going to fall down, I hope you are wearing your best g string.

  13. Slim and trim feels vital and energizing. You're doing extremely well. Dieting is not easy. A meal with family and disco with E sounds like good fun. Your garden sounds beautiful with the flowering current in bloom.

Your flowering current is lovely! Our abelias and lilacs are in bloom and the fragrance is heavenly.
Well done on the weight loss! I remember that men lose weight more quickly than women do and I'm sticking with that. I've managed just 1 lb. Sigh!
Enjoy your day but do get a belt or braces to keep your pants up!

    Hugs!

  22. Congrats on releasing the pounds! Someone in the universe needs them :-) I've let 35 go in 16 months.

Slow and steady wins the race. No worries on going out today. Consider this: eat super healthy 80% of the time and/or give yourself permission to have a splurge meal each week. Denial diets don't work-I know after 8 years of being a yo-yo weight! NO MORE denial!

Cheers to a lovely meal :-)
