Lovely Zombies

I found a new zombie tv series on Netflix yesterday. This won’t interest anyone but I rather enjoyed the Canadian filmed horror Black Summer.and binge watched it last night in bed from 6 pm.
Something I never do. Perhaps it had something to do with the Hispanic leading man Sal Valez

I’m working days all this weekend.
And I can’t be bothered to light the fire as I’ve not long got home and will be in bed in half an hour.
I’m still eating very healthy but for a treat I’d plan in  having a miniature gin with ice and two Jacobs cream crackers with white crab meat for my supper.

This time it was  mary who stole the crab off the top of the crackers without moving the crackers from their plate….which in my mind was pretty nifty  so it was the neat gin and licked crackers.

I ate the crackers.
Fuck it

Today was busy as we admitted a very poorly patient from the Hospice at Home team but I was on with a great bunch of staff  so all went bloody well.
When work goes like that, it’s a tiring pleasure to do what I do.

I’ve just made a chicken salad for lunch

Time for bed

  1. I wondered if the only reason you're so enamored with zombie shows is because the zombie fighters are always so hot and stubbly or bearded and wear lumberjack shirts.

  2. Yes, I can understand the binge watching - eye candy indeed! You're doing well to stick with the healthy eating despite your busy work schedule. And Mary helping with the portion control, too. Good thing she's not acquired the taste for gin, otherwise it would just have been dry crackers.😝 Sleep well, night, night. xx

  4. Only crab for Mary. How she managed to take the crab without the crackers is quite a feat. Maybe she felt she must leave a bit for you. I've binge watched a few series too; it is easy to do when interest is high.

    1. She’s a delicate eater, like most Welsh terriers , she is polite when taking food…even when she’s stealing it

Ah, sweet Mary isn't going to be left out of the rota for stealing your food, is she? Last night Dh had a few shrimp with 2 deviled eggs. He said it was delicious.
    Sweet dreams!

    Hugs!

  7. Thank you for the work that you do. I wonder if you realise how much you and people that work in care are appreciated by families that have had loved ones in your care. Good care means the world if not to the patient if they are too poorly, then definitley to the people that love that person x

  8. Mary, that devious cur! I probably would have eaten the crackers too. God knows our dog has licked my mouth often enough.

  10. Thanks for the "Black Summer" recommendation. I'll try it tonight. I've been feeling a sense of loss since 'The Last of Us' ended. Sal Valez is definitely cute. There's just something about a man who can take down a zombie without breaking a sweat.
