Unexpected boozy nights are the best
I have the first bad hangover than I’ve had in absolute ages.
A product of the velvet voiced Linda’s unsteady pouring hand and bitter lemon and limes which disguised a cocktail that could floor an average sized bison
I drank four of them
Roger and I are off to the beach and will stand in the wind
With our faces to the sea
Don’t blow away! GG
ReplyDeleteI’m feeling ok now, I resisted the temptation of a cooked breakfast
DeleteOoh. A little lie down may be next?
ReplyDelete2 hours sleep this afternoon lol
DeleteOh, dear! Beware all the calories in booze, too. Mind you, it's too late now! Hope the sea air clears your head. xx
ReplyDeleteYes and no low calories bitter lemon
DeleteLots of water, a salty meal, and a good long nap should fix you up!
ReplyDeleteI took your advice

DeleteSometimes, in spite of a hangover, getting maggoted can help your mental health.
ReplyDeleteAnd also rot your liver.
DeleteAnd nasty comments like this can rot the soul and brain! Boom boom!
DeleteI did like Basil Brush
I’ve hydrated with Diet Coke and lemon juice

ReplyDeleteHow nice to have a delightful night with friends and I know fresh air is good for hangovers. I'm not sure about sunlight glinting off the sea as that bright light might be unpleasant for your eyes.
ReplyDeleteBe good to you!
Hugs!
I didn’t feel human until 4 pm
DeleteOne sure way to cure a hangover is to have some hair of the dog. And I don't mean Roger's. :D
ReplyDeleteAfter walking on the beach and a strong coffee at my usual cafe , I went to bed for two hours
DeleteUgh. I do hate a hangover.
ReplyDeleteI can’t remember my last one
DeleteI didn't realise that bisons drank cocktails. I thought they were all beer drinkers. Certainly the bisons that visit my local only drink beer and an occasional whisky.
ReplyDeleteThere are few things worse than a Gin hangover, except perhaps Tequila....... I hope the wind helped.
ReplyDeleteI cannot remember when I last had a hangover. I'm obviously not drinking enough!
