Very cool indeed. No need to be cut off from the fur family just because you are working. Took me a long time to realise that! Now have my desk in the bay window. Warmer as well as more practical. Well done!
Then buy a very short one if you can! Seriously, they are very difficult to work around. I have mine because my brother bought it from a church, then decided to give it to me. I'm sorry I agreed.
Your new office space looks lovely and am sure the family will be pleased to have you w where there are plenty of comfy seats for them to enjoy as you work!
Looks inviting. I love the throw artfully placed on the chair! You'll be warmer there and you'll be able to keep an eye on the fur babies, too. Win, win! xx
Not to make you nervous, but you know the story of outlaw Wild Bill Hickok: He always sat with his back to a wall so he could see the door. One day, when he went to play poker, the only seat available was facing away from the door. He tried changing seats twice, but couldn’t. He was shot in the back of the head.
It seems you've really gotten into the swing of college. A charming spot for the desk. Rather wintery outside here, too. Down to 4 overnight! Currently 11 and feels like 9.
Very cool indeed! Interior magazine worthy.

ReplyDeleteI need to face the wall, no distractions
DeleteLooks good. I want a desk, but to make room I have to move a pew. Where to put the pew is the question!
ReplyDeleteI want to buy a pew from our church

DeleteThere is a desk upstairs here so large and heavy it can't now be moved anywhere - and an enormous drawing board partially blocking my entrance x 📇

ReplyDeleteHugs!
It makes sense. I prefer to have my back against the wall so that I can see what, if anything, is going on. Good move.

ReplyDeleteYour new office is very nicely done. Good lighting, 2 chairs, flowers on the desk and art on the wall.
ReplyDeleteVery 50ish or earlier. I can see Dashiell Hammett at his typewriter.
ReplyDeleteThat will do me
DeleteI'm glad college is going well for you.
ReplyDeleteAlbert can help you studying by sitting on the desk and testing you every so often.
