‘OME

Today’s post was a partially successful effort to lift my spirits
But when I’m like this, I know what I do need
And that’s Sheffield
So next week I’m back off ‘ome
A couple of pints with Mike, theatre ( the acclaimed and almost sold out Sheffield based musical  Standing At The Sky’s Edge ) with Jane, breakfast arch, and camp with Jonney H and lunch with Kathryn and Vince

Is the play about the Park Hill flats? I know they’re Marmite in Sheffield but I’ve always liked them since working in the nursery there.
Good to see them being refurbished.

  16. You do have your ups and downs! I hope the planned time w friends lifts your spirits. It's very dark here today too---the dogwalker just delivered a very soggy but happy pug , long rany walk.
Do you drive to Sheffield? Stay at a hotel?

  17. Nothing better to lift the spirits than a visit to old haunts. Have fun and come back recharged. Going into a New Year flat as a pancake spirits wise is the pits... I know!
