For once all hope of a witty comment escapes me. Take care of yourself and I hope that there is an equally long string of good things in the near future to even up your average!
Oh damn, sorry for that. Sigh, still the reason we are just so nervous about getting back out there. I think eventually, there will be no escaping it. You've got this, sending good vibes your way!
I assume you know the drill with the available anti-covid meds..remdesivir and others have been shown to be effective. I suggest you get on a trial of one of those, John. Take, care, be smart, and be aggressive in the tx of this...
Oh dear. I was helping a Dutch friend with some computer stuff recently; she was leaning over my shoulder as I showed her. The following day she tested positive, so I've been worrying for the past few days. We'll see!
My household have all been quite miserable with colds or flu and when you posted about being tucked up in bed with a head cold I was relieved that it's not just us finding regular colds horrid. haha, the joke is on me now, isn't it? I hope you have a quick version
Jabs are not placebos you fool, they are definitely working, as many people are developing less severe symptoms after being 'jabbed'. Do you have no memory of how serious the situation was before we had any vaccine for Covid?
That sucks! A friend of mine just got covid too (after having successfully avoided it since the start of the pandemic) and she has quite severe COPD at the best of times, so I'm very worried about her. She's fully vaxxed so I hope that will alleviate the most dangerous symptoms.
So sorry. Get better soon. My husband has been in hospital with covid pneumonia. ( about 8 weeks ago) In an oxygen tent also oxygen tubes up his nose. Had an xray today to see what damage its done to his lung. Will find out next week. He is still weak. Anyone who thinks its just like flu hasn't had it!
Oh bugger, not again! Be kind to yourself. Hope you feel better soon. xx
ReplyDeleteOh no! Just as well you didn't go to Rome really. Look after yourself John xx
ReplyDeleteYes, lucky I didn’t go eh?
DeleteWell, doesn't that beat it all! Hang in there!
ReplyDeleteTake care🤧🤧
ReplyDeleteI'm intrigued. I am also in the PNW. I'm always hoping I will find enough people to have an in person Going Gently fan club.

ReplyDeleteOh no!!! Recover quickly. Some holiday!

DeleteOh, that's not fair! At least you will be in your own bed with your own shower. I found steam helped. Take care.
ReplyDeleteOh damn, sorry for that. Sigh, still the reason we are just so nervous about getting back out there. I think eventually, there will be no escaping it. You've got this, sending good vibes your way!

ReplyDeleteGet well soon, John! Glad you are at home to recover! Take care, Dearheart!
ReplyDeleteSo sorry about the cold.
ReplyDeleteSorry, I'm a little confused. That looks like a negative pregnancy test.
ReplyDeleteI thought the same thing, but was afraid to ask! "Covid again, or are you pregnant?"
DeleteYou've had all your shots, so you should be OK ... just hoping you have a very mild case! You are in your own space and that has to help somewhat!
ReplyDeleteWell, fuck.
ReplyDeleteIt is the dreaded C again. Rest and get well soon.
ReplyDeleteWhat rotten luck! Get well soon.
ReplyDeleteDamn Covid, I hope you feel better soon!
ReplyDeleteSo sorry for you.

ReplyDeleteAs if holiday plans ruined wasn't enough! Am so sorry. Take care and get better soon.
ReplyDeleteThis is very sad and a little worrying. Jabs and masks look to be placebos and not particularly efficacious. Get well soon.
ReplyDeleteJabs are not placebos you fool, they are definitely working, as many people are developing less severe symptoms after being 'jabbed'. Do you have no memory of how serious the situation was before we had any vaccine for Covid?
DeleteHorrible - your condition and situation. May you come through it even quicker than a.s.a.p. - then be able to smile again.
ReplyDeleteI'm not sure what I'm looking at--my test was a white stick that turned pink--but I take it you've had a relapse. Get well soon.
ReplyDeleteOh ffs hope you feel better soon x
ReplyDeleteHope you recover quickly - am hearing of a lot more Covid cases recently.
ReplyDeleteLet's hope it's just a post Jubilee thing !
Oh No! I heard cases were rising again. Look after yourself, drink plenty of water and rest up
ReplyDeleteBad things come in threes so I hope that was the third one! Take care John. x
ReplyDeleteOh dear. Having it once was bad enough for you. Get well soon.
ReplyDeleteLook after yourself and get well soon. Jxx
ReplyDeleteOh, no!
ReplyDeleteGet better soon!
XOXO
Good luck should arrive soon like an American marching band.
ReplyDeleteI really feel for you John, I hope you soon feel much better. xx
ReplyDeleteOh rats! Are you pregnant???
ReplyDeleteJust when you think it is safe to go back into the water.
ReplyDeleteThat sucks! A friend of mine just got covid too (after having successfully avoided it since the start of the pandemic) and she has quite severe COPD at the best of times, so I'm very worried about her. She's fully vaxxed so I hope that will alleviate the most dangerous symptoms.
ReplyDeleteTwo bites of the Covid cherry, some people have all the luck. Look after yourself.
ReplyDeleteNow you're just getting greedy, is one dose of Covid not enough for you? Seriously, hope you're bouncing with health a.s.a.p.! X
