Colour

Purple is the soul-lifter
Red, the flame of passion
Yellow, the light of warmth
Green, vibrant stem of life
Pink, a whisper of beauty
Orange beckons, take a chance
Blue is the sea tide in us all
~Terri Guillemets

  10. Yellow.
We were a family of six and there was a toy set of nesting cups, six of them.
The smallest was yellow, I was the youngest.
My sister wasn't pleased at getting white.
    I've loved yellow ever since.

It used to be red, but now the colours I go for are green, maroon and burnt orange (an amber colour).

  14. How can one pick only one color? I always say that my favorite color is the color of the sea in Cozumel, Mexico which includes greens and blues and teals and turquoise and purple.

  15. I ll say Blue, but choosing is absurd for me. My quilts display a vibrant mix, the louder the better. Home is blue and white, facing the open Atlantic---except when other colors creep in and yell, Look at me, I am pretty too.

  32. I don't have a favourite colour. Living with a painter you soon realise that colours change depending on the surroundings. I mean, I like pink, but only in small quantities, not a Barbara Cartland overload.

  33. Of course your fav is yellow, John! While walking one day, I had on a yellow T shirt. A man saw me, waved and said, "When someone wears yellow, you know they are a sunny and warm person!" So there you have it. You're a sunny and warm person! It is my fav color as well.

  37. Mine is red. I am looking for some red sheets for the bed. I haven't had any in a while and I think it would be well seeing how that is where all the passion is happening lately.

  39. I love any shade of green but also adore a dark orange. When I was a teenager my whole closet consisted of clothing in every shade of green imaginable and not a lot else; maybe a bit of cream.
