Occupational Therapy

There is nothing more soulless at Christmas than radio music
If I hear Slade again, I shall scream
I’m wrapping gifts and painting awful decorations on my “paper” gifts and have done for most of the morning
Occupational therapy for the mentally bewildered as I prefer to describe it
I’m listen to classic FM which is doable
Merry Christmas Eve
Enjoy Tom Chaplain …all of us will understand the lyrics …” all running on empty”

  1. You mean to say you didn't listen to the Pop Master Champions League Final, the culmination of the whole year's Pop Master and Ken Bruce???! Ken played some good music too.

    1. Shame on you. I listened to the whole of Ken Bruce and then switched off. I am now sitting in silence.

    3. She s a star when out , friendly and obedient off the lead
At home she’s a cross between Joan Rivers and Bubble from Ad fab

    4. God, Dorothy obedient when out, unbelievable. I never watched Ab Fab so don't know Bubble character but I imagine you mean she is a bit of a madam at home.

  4. Yes, Merry Christmas Eve and a very Merry Christmas tomorrow! Waiting for the New Year to commence and hoping to God it proves worth waiting for! LOL
Dorothy looks pretty laid back ... relaxing in the chair! Let's hope the new year can see her outside behavior and her inside behavior conjoin into perfect behavior everywhere!

  6. It occurred to me last night driving home, that one of the benefits of having to work such long hours is that I have not heard "Grandma Got Run Over by a Reindeer' one time this season. Hallelujah. Merry Christmas, John!

The personal touch on the gifts - nice!
Go to You Tube for the music of your choice, like the King's Chapel choir, perhaps?
A Merry Christmas Eve and Christmas to you, John, all of Trelawnyd, and the whole wide world!

    Hugs!

  8. I, too, have departed from Christmas music. Enough already. Listening to Ravel's Bolero is my choice and Alejandro Sanz does a great job with it.

  12. I made the mistake of thinking I should start the Christmas present buying, wrapping, decorating and music listening in early December. Now it's Christmas Eve and I'm feeling a bit nauseated by it all. But following the good example of my role model, Weaver of Grass, I will cheerfully persevere. Have a wonderful Christmas, John.

  13. Carols from Kings works for me. On the subject of which is the church opposite you holding any services - carols? I know that you said that the possibility of it being used as a pilgrim church is being explored, but surely it would make a lovely venue for a Christmas Carol event and other Trelawnyd shindigs throughout the year?

  17. Only canned Christmas music I've had inflicted on me was at the dentist's. Can put my hand on my heart and swear that being subjected to various versions of "You're a Mean One Mr Grinch" and Mariah Carey's "Last Christmas" all afternoon is worse than a root canal.
