I had planned to go to the cinema today for a retry at watching The Last Duel
I was pissed off because no where is now showing it.
I returned to the pottery studio instead.
It was my first time back and it will be nice to get to plan and construct my ceramic chess set again.
I bought this vase / bowl too.
I liked it’s robust proportions
I wouldn't worry too much about the Last Duel. I would aim for Dune now if I were you. A week in cinema is a long time! I don't what excited me about the Last Duel that day but now it sort of pales into insignificance! I love the bowl.
ReplyDeleteWell dune it is then tomorrow before choir
DeleteLovely bowl! Might you aspire to making bowls, mugs, and such when the chess set is finished?
ReplyDeleteI really liked the first Dune movie so wonder how the new one compares.
Happy Monday!
Hugs!
My sisters will be coming to class too I hope
DeleteYou have a great aesthetic. Lucky you spotted this bowl. The shape and color is great. I like the glaze too.
ReplyDeleteI knew I had to buy it immediately I saw it
DeleteI know that feeling well. It is almost like the item has your name on it.
DeleteOooh, I love that bowl. What are you going to use it for, or is it just to sit there, looking gorgeous? Did you ever watch the Great Pottery Throwdown? I loved it, and Keith Brymer Jones getting emotional. xx

DeleteI saw the title and photo and thought that you had excelled in making the bowl.I was thinking how good you had got so quickly until I read on! Lovely bowl as I am sure will also the chess set be.
ReplyDeleteLol my horse was impressive
DeleteDepending on the size of that beautiful bowl, it would be perfect for an assortment of fresh fruit!
ReplyDeleteIt’s not that big , I’m thinking kitchen utensils
DeleteThat would be an excellent use of it as well!
DeleteThat's a lovely purchase! Well done!
ReplyDeleteCheers
DeleteBeautiful vase/bowl. I've a (very) small collection of handmade pottery, as well as a few wood carved vases. They add warmth to a home I think. --Elise
