Photo Shoot

The reporter from The Daily Post was lovely and very balanced and professional . He’s hopefully going to run a story about the Church and Trelawnyd’s general wishes for it’s change of status.
It’s an interesting story, he said after a good hour on the phone.

I promised to take a few photos of the Church for him to use and he sneaked in with a request.
Could I be in the photo too? ….
I went cold.
I hate my photo being taken at the best of times, let alone have it splashed to the great and the good of North Wales but needs must and when I bumped into Meirion out for his daily constitutional I conscripted him as my official photographer
I was like Edina out of Absolutely Fabulous during the shoot ….his nerves must have been shredded
Lol

  1. I think many people hate being photographed, me included. But if it's for a good cause, why not? I hope the article and photo means the church gets lots of publicity and support from around the country. xx

  9. Another vote for the second photo which does include so much more of the church itself. The baseball cap is a good signature look for you.

I like the 2nd photo, too, and think you should be happy with it. You look like the kind, caring, thoughtful person that you are. The wonderfully wicked, humorous, and enticing gleam is missing from your eyes, but perhaps that's for the best since this picture will be in the newspaper!

    Hugs!

  29. Looking gooood! The second photo shows off the church better, and includes a gravestone which rounds out the image. The balance of the grey beard (gravitas) and the smart casual clothing works well, AND you’re looking very trim. Altogether an excellent photo for publicity purposes.

Only a few pounds to reach your goal?

I vote for the 2nd picture, too! You look so handsome in that one! If you don't get a call or a note or 2 from interested readers (fans) then something is wrong with them!

  47. It's the posing for a photograph that is so bad isn't it.

I really don't mind a naturally captured shot of myself but when someone asks me to stand still for a photo my face forgets what to do and I always end up looking like a lopsided grinning village idiot!!
