I was meant to go to the sea but it would have been too hot for my bunch-so instead we're walking in the shade and been splashing and hanging around in the stream-I'm using cold wet towels on them-they do have a little paddling pool but prefer it when the weather's cold-can you cool off with a cold damp towel yourself John-it's a nightmare-everything is just so moist at the moment x
Lovely view! Wish there was air conditioning inside the hospice building for you and everyone. Hope this day shift is pleasant and uneventful. May you have cause to dance. :)
Apologies from the gutter in advance, but once heard never forgotten. Some 60 years later, whenever I see the name of that place I can't help thinking of that crude joke about the man who was thought to have the word 'Ludo' tattooed onto a certain part of his anatomy.
Looks beautiful...if you were on holiday!!

ReplyDeletePlenty of blue in that sky to make a sailor a pair of trousers! I don't envy you having to work in this heat, though. Stay cool and hydrated. xx

That is a beautiful beach landscape. Very perfect for a long walk, swim and picnic. An instant plan!
ReplyDeleteNot being familiar with the area that grey/black mound in the distance looks rather odd.

How beautiful! I wish I could see the sea once in awhile but I'm in the middle of the country here and the sea is far away. Enjoy your views!
