He has every right to be! I imagine he is in pain aside from the indignities suffered at the vets. He probably could use something for pain. Albert is a very special cat. Lots of love and treats might help.
Albert is clearly fed up with all that's happened. Hope all four of you got a restful night's sleep. It's wonderful that you're not straight back to work, too.
I would never have guessed!!! Seriously displeased! Poor boy, he's probably quite sore, and maybe he gets post-anaesthesia headaches... I know I do. Treat time John. Does that usually do the trick?
I don't blame him! He's had a lot to put up with in the past couple of days. Give him a cuddle from me (or just a stroke if a cuddle is off the cards!) xx
Albert looks deeply offended. We have a cat who is similar and has the same colored eyes. Maybe it's the eyes? Our vet is afraid of Baghera, with good reason.
And so he should be! LOL
ReplyDeleteThat beautiful feline has been through too much recently. No wonder he's pissed.
ReplyDeleteThere is no glare quite as intimidating as a black cat's glare. But Albert is quite a beautiful animal. What gorgeous eyes!
ReplyDeleteAnd looks it!
ReplyDeleteYou are in serious trouble! Better stock up on his favorite treats.
ReplyDeleteYes! Extra love and extra treats. I am sure John knows just how to to make him happy. I think he is a beautiful cat.

ReplyDeleteBut he's handsome :) Black cats have a special place in my heart. I hope he feels himself again soon.
ReplyDeleteHe's gorgeous when he's pissed off, though!
ReplyDeleteYou know...it could have been all of you.
ReplyDeleteI would be, too.
ReplyDeleteLove,
Janie
Poor Albert. I have just now read of his misadventure. Poor old boy. Glad he's come through it with not much more than a bad temper.
ReplyDeleteAww....I just love Albert! I don't blame him....I'd still be pissed off too. Give him some extra pets for me!
ReplyDeleteOur Billy was 'nudged' by a car when he was much smaller; he's now very wary of them.

ReplyDeleteHugs!

ReplyDeleteI know that look ! Now I must read what happened.
ReplyDeleteNot happy! He's a great character
ReplyDeleteThose BIG eyes tell that the shock of it all hasn't left him - which is perfectly understandable.
ReplyDeleteMy thought too. He looks in shock yet.

ReplyDeleteI think so . . .
ReplyDeleteThe eyes tell it all!
His fur still looks perfect...but imagine the bruises inside. Poor Albert!
ReplyDeleteThat is a VERY accusatory glare!
ReplyDeleteI think perhaps a packet of Dreamies might cheer him up a bit . . . our cats adore them.
ReplyDeleteOh my goodness, those eyes! He is beautiful.
ReplyDeleteTry playing him "Always look on the bright side of life".
ReplyDeleteOoh, that face! I wouldn’t mess with him.
ReplyDeleteTell him how much we care.
ReplyDeleteThat's how I look at my husband when he has annoyed me.. No wonder the poor bloke does as he is told :-)
ReplyDeletedoes he blame you? my dogs hold me responsible for the horrible weather we are having.
ReplyDeleteThat picture should be pinned to every small child's bedroom wall with a command added below in bright yellow: "DON'T HAVE NIGHTMARES!"
ReplyDeleteSuch pretty eyes,
ReplyDeleteHe will forgive everyone eventually!
ReplyDeleteI'm glad you are all on the recovery side of this misadventure.

Haha !!!! I would be pissed of as well …. Brilliant photo. XXXX
ReplyDeleteHe has every right to be! Not with you though
ReplyDeleteAnd so he should be, poor lad!
ReplyDeleteCould have been worse! Hope he feels better soon.
ReplyDeletePoor offended Albert! Haha!
ReplyDeleteOh dear. He sure does still look mad at you. Maybe in the future there is a pill you can pop into him before a trip to the vet.

Poor baby, hope all is well soon
ReplyDeleteBless, he's lovely xx
ReplyDeleteYay Albert!
ReplyDeleteGood on you Albert.
ReplyDeleteNo one holds a grudge like a cat!
ReplyDeleteBlimey the death stare
