Pippa from the Rectory caught me in the lane, worried about the possible closure of the Church.I’ve asked her to get as many people that are interested to email the vicar supporting the possibility of it becoming a pilgrim church. She said she would.
I go back to work tomorrow
I really don’t want to go
I sympathise. When I worked, I never wanted to go back after a break. Sadly, give it an hour and you'll feel like you've not had a holiday. You have made the most of your time at home, though. Love the print. Hope Albert has recovered from his ordeal. xx
ReplyDeleteHe’s just followed us for the last walk , things don’t change
DeleteSorry to be an ignoramus John but at first I thought you had bought a clothes pattern and had plans to run up a kaftan to lounge in when you are relaxing at home in your cottage x
ReplyDeleteMe too, flis. ;)
DeleteHugs John.
You can be forgiven. Xx
DeleteLove the colours of the print.
ReplyDeleteSo hard to return to work after a relaxing break enjoying home and friends.
The orange goes well with the navy
DeleteYou may not want to go back John but I am sure your patients are looking forward to your return and the care and comfort you give them.
ReplyDeleteI’ve had nearly three weeks off , I can’t complain
DeleteLove the new framed picture and the orange will be the perfect compliment for the navy paint.
ReplyDeleteWhat a shame that work and the commute to and from cut into your free time so deeply. Hope you and everyone can soon discard the PPEs safely as being in your uniform and no PPE may well feel like a vacation.
Big hugs!
Night shifts will ease me in slowly
DeleteThe print will look fab on your navy blue walls.
ReplyDeleteThe last day of time off always has that melancholy feeling.
Like the Sunday before school
DeleteA holiday at home always ends with not wanting to go back to work and then once you get there it is fine. I hope that is the case for you too. I like the print very much. xx
ReplyDeleteIt will be fine as soon as I get there

ReplyDeleteOh my god-where did you come from
DeleteJust shut the FUCK up you hateful troll. He has done NOTHING of the sort. He took good and proper care of Albert. You are horrible. Leave John alone and stop ruining this blog for the rest of us. It really is insufferable. You are disgusting.
DeleteI am sure that this is just the reaction that you are looking for- but I don't CARE anymore. Just LEAVE JOHN ALONE!
Thank you for your words ..the object is to upset me and not you…but I just delete the trolls words they mean nothing x

DeleteLOVE that print! We have an 'orange-themed' corner that we like a lot.
ReplyDeleteOne of these days you will no longer have to return to work, John, when you retire for good. It will come sooner than you think.
I’ve got a lot more years to work jimbo….mortgage to pay x
Deletethanks for sharing that is a great print...
ReplyDeleteThank you..it’s more interesting the longer you look at it
DeleteOh this is gonna look fab in the bedroom! The pop of color is gonna look awesome with the blue walls! Love.
ReplyDeleteXOXO
I like the print. So glad Albert is all right.
ReplyDeleteLove,
Janie
It will be good to see your colleagues - they will be impressed with your weight loss. Make sure you have some healthy snacks to keep you going on nights! x
ReplyDeleteThe only alternative is to send the dogs out to work and we all know how that would end up :)
ReplyDeleteAs Rachel said, the worst part is the dread of going back. Once there, it seems to be okay for some reason.
I can picture that print on a navy wall - very nice.
Can retirement be in your near future?
ReplyDeleteYou are needed,
ReplyDeleteHaving that long break is half your problem. It's hard to get going after such a long pause. It will be a hard start, but once the rust comes off and you get rolling again, you'll be fine. Confidence is high.
ReplyDeleteThat framed print will look great against your new navy walls!
ReplyDeleteWhat is a pilgrim church? Why do you want it?
ReplyDeleteIt willthe only way to keep the church open. A pilgrim.church is overseen by a caretaker and is open 24/7. Some of the costs of running it are done by the community and not all by the church of wales
DeleteThat print will look terrific on your dark blue wall! Glad you have been able to enjoy your break so much. Back to work but don't forget to plan some fun for your days off!
ReplyDeleteOh yes, orange with navy is perfection - I love the print and your eye for design!
ReplyDeleteVery Nice Thanks For Sharing And Keep Sharing.
