Scrambled Eggs In Bloomsbury

I've walked over 35 thousand steps in three days, subsequently I slept like a log in my lovely hotel bed.

Keeping up the health thing I've just had a nice walk from Covent Garden through Bloomsbury and have just had scrambled eggs on ONE toast at the Tropea Cafe in Russell Square.

my next stop is Euston and home.

But I will sit here in the sun, sip my coffee and watch the dogs play in the park a little while longer

I wish I was homeward bound
    Home where Albert's creeping
Home where my dogs are sleeping
Home where Trelawnyd Male Voice Choir's waiting
    Silently for me..."

  9. There are certain people who know how to draw one in to share stories of their happy times - you have done this with your story of your London weekend dear John. Although I don't know your friends, I feel like I do, and I would enjoy them just as you have done! You really earned this time away from work, the village etc. SO very glad it all was such fun.
    Hugs - Mary x

  11. ... I walk over 14,000 steps in an 8 hours shift at work every day I work. Once your legs are used to it, it's easy peasy.

What a lovely place to wind up this wonderful weekend. Safe journey and happy homecoming! 3 souls will rejoice when their Alpha male returns home.
Hope you don't return to work for at least a day or two.

Learned this morning that my nearest independent arthouse movie theatre won't reopen after COVID. I'm so disappointed; "blockbusters" are not my thing.
