He looks like he's come out of the shower and not found his comb! All the UK blogs are complaining about the weather! Look on the bright side - the vaccines are being administered, and Lockdown is easing.
"needs buying".... you are getting more American by the day. A comment, not a criticism. It will help you find a US publisher, perhaps, or help you to have gotten one, ha ha, but not a UK one as they would say the coffee does not actually need anything, but rather than it is you who needs to buy the coffee.
Just been out to inspect the veg plot - damp and dismal indeed, with another bad day forecast for tomorrow then some sunny days to follow. Here's hoping! Are you still out and about with work, or nicely sheltered indoors?
I have yet to go into a cafe but I did have a neighbour round for coffee yesterday and the neighbour the other side is coming for a cuppa this afternoon.
The sun has finally come out here in sunny Southport and I've even got washing on the line. That's tempting fate! Hope you have a good shift and the sun is out on your next day off. xx
Ah, John, how can you not smile at that plant pot face even on a gloomy morning? About the damp, as long as it's not rising ... :) Please send rain to Chesterfield, Virginia, USA! Ta. Wishing you a good day at work and a delightful drive home. Hugs!

ReplyDeleteHope you get some hot and sunny soon.
ReplyDeleteI find I have to work hard to be positive on a dull damp day. It's especially the lack of light which can feel a bit grim.

ReplyDeleteI am no gardener, but it looks as though you have over-watered that plant - unless you have holes in your roof.

ReplyDeletei love damp and dreary. i'm living in hell with 90 degree days and no rain for weeks and it's may. ugh!
