Anne Marie

I’m having a quiet moment in work. coffee, silent office, a tick of the clock...
It’s been a sad morning but a professionally successful one and I’m taking a minute to share some some sad news that long time supporter and follower of so many gay friendly blogs Anne Marie ( http://frommybraintomymouth.blogspot.com/) has died after a short illness.
Outspoken, and friendly for several years now she has rung me on Christmas Day with a bellowing laugh of “ GREETINGS SQUIRE JOHN” and her pithy, one line advice has followed my life for a decade now as she has loyaly followed Going Gently waving her rainbow flag
She will be missed.

  5. I'm so very sad about losing Anne Marie. This morning I thought of contacting her husband Todd to see where I could send flowers, but then it occurred to me that a small donation to an LGBTQ supporting organization might be more in line with what she would want. She was such a staunch ally.

RIP to the Warrior Queen. She will be sorely missed.

  13. Yes, it's been truly devastating to hear of this. Mine will be just one of many who are carrying heavy hearts today and for a while yet. W.Q. will forever hold a place of honour on the list of those taken before it was fair to happen. We bless her memory with profound gratitude to her for just being herself - and for being our very special friend.

  39. She has left a void in much of the blog community and, for some of us who got to call her friend, a hole in our hearts. She was a great friend, staunch ally, fierce social justice warrior, and irreplaceable.
