The ponies are back in my field.
A mare and a colt
Two friendly souls who like to blow down their noses then breathe in your smell.
They please me
I drove to the Mostyn Gallery shop and bought a print for my bedroom and some bespoke greetings cards
I had take out coffee on the beach
Johnn-Your new art print reminds me of a Fragrant bouquet of velvet rose petals awaiting a yummy gorgeousness of a man to sprinkle onto your bed x
ReplyDeleteScatter!x
DeleteI think it will look nice against the blue walls
DeleteReminds me of falling autumn leaves, or in a different light, falling cherry blossom. Isn't it a lovely feeling to be able to go to a (non-essential)shop again? xx
ReplyDeleteI wanted to show my support to the gallery shop
DeleteMiss mine saying hello, breathing each other's scents - was a morning ritual. Flis' comments says it all - nice! Dee
ReplyDeleteThe two ponies are cheerful happy souls that like human company
DeleteRed is a good colour for bedroom art. It will bring a sense of fire to your loins. Perhaps you may even find a horse to blow and breathe in your scent 🤣
ReplyDeleteI hope you don't mind a lady enquiring about such personal matters Mavis-but do you have Fire in your loins for anyone in particular at the moment?x
DeleteAbsolutely not. My loins, like my heart are icy and in the deep freeze.
DeleteYou two!
DeleteYour room is going to be so nice.
ReplyDeleteIt will I think x
DeleteHave you done the walls yet? If so I must have missed it - hope you did it in a lovely blue. Do you ever watch Escape to the Country (3pm BBC1) today's client was looking for a house in Cornwall - there was such a beautiful house on - colour-washed pink outside and glorious colours on the insdide walls - I immediately thought of you.
ReplyDeleteNot yet pat, I have a holiday at the beginning of may that’s when it will be all sorted
DeleteI’m painiting an old bookcase too
DeleteI wonder where my comment went?? Will try again.
ReplyDeleteLove the new art work and the top part of it reminds me of the lava from Iceland's current volcanoes. Now THAT is really HOT!
Love the horse's nose picture and perhaps it should join your art walls. Those noses are so very velvety and friendly.
Ah, the sea and coffee ... bliss!
Hugs!
Yes it’s been a happy day
DeleteI'm glad to hear that!
DeleteHugs!
Sorry Mave but the larger picture of you makes you look much more handsome and younger. John looks like a Swedish detective from somthing like The Bridge.
ReplyDeleteOoo Sandycat-is that the picture on the right with himself holding the snooker cue?x
DeleteLol am I missing something?
DeleteThere's more than one picture of me?
DeleteMore great art and horse's noses. A good day.
ReplyDeleteIt was nice to go somewhere
Deletehorse schnozzes are intoxicating.
ReplyDeleteI love that musty oaty smell when you do it
DeleteLovely to have the horses in the field again John as for the print I see a flock of Blackbirds in the sun.
ReplyDeleteI like that analogy
DeleteI miss my horse - the first day I met him he walked straight up and kissed me! He was such a sweetheart. I miss his company. Enjoy the two in the field. Horses are always good company.
ReplyDeleteHow lovely to walk into the Gallery and indulge yourself in a new print. Looks a bit devilish to me as I can see two eyes at the top!!
Oh yes x
DeleteIt will be alright John-just like a Green man in disguise x
DeleteSounds like a lovely day!
ReplyDeleteI needed it x
DeleteI like donkeys' ears.
ReplyDeleteThere is something so calming and serene about horses. I'm glad they are friendly. :)
ReplyDeleteSounds like a pleasant day, John! Nice of you to support a local business. xx
ReplyDeleteThere is not much softer than a horse's nose
ReplyDeleteTime spent by the sea rejuvenates. The salt air and tides splashing ashore is just wonderful. The ponies complete your field as they graze and greet their admirers. Nice art. Do you see a mysterious face with a goatee?
ReplyDeleteNext will be a flock of fluffy friendly sheep.
ReplyDeleteI'd love to have ponies near my house. Your art print is great.
ReplyDeleteLove,
Janie
When I saw that picture of the horse last night on my phone ( facebook?) I thought it was a view of Dorothy's back!! ( I had been having a few glasses of wine!)

DeleteWell, 'Anonymous', that's my excuse for being happy; what's yours, you cheerful little soul?
DeleteAnonymous, If you're going to spout venom, at least do us the courtesy of spelling words correctly!
DeleteOther than that, get yourself a life and fuck off!
A new picture in a room can change the atmosphere of a room. I like the picture you chose.
ReplyDeleteHorse noses are so SOFT!
ReplyDeleteI followed 2 lovely horses along a track today at a distance with my beloved ones-plop,plop,plop and I then had to steer clear because my dogs grab mouthfulls and gobble it up with relish(the horseriders seem to be allowed to leave their deposits but not my dogs oh no)x
ReplyDeleteThe sweet smell of a healthy horse..
ReplyDeleteGood art on the wall...and good coffee
Bliss!x
Horses noses are the softest thing in the world.
